I prefer dogs to cats. The latter freaks me out.

I used to like cats better than dogs but ever since 20+ cats started using my backyard as a litter box, I've started to resent the little inbred bastards. Don't like dogs either. Got into a fight with the neighbor's dog. Nasty bastard.

I don't mind cats though.

Maybe it's just from life past experience that I find dogs to be more friendly and loyal.

Most people here might already know, I'm a dog person...but I'm generally okay with cats too

I guess I like dogs more, since I don't like the independence of cats (and how they simply ignore you when they feel like it) and they can't be trained like dogs. Also, dogs are much more useful for a house. (see the Dobermann staring at you from behind a fence).

I really like cats too (had two when I was younger) but I prefer having dogs as pets.

Neither, but if I had to choose, I'd pick a cat.

Anyways.. I am a huge dog lover. As of now, I have four dogs... soon to be five. I'm baby shopping right now. 😛 🤣 I prefer pets that I can actually get down and dirty with. Not that I have anything against cats, but I'm not partial to pets that want nothing to do with you unless it wants something to do with you. Cats are a little too independent for my taste. Not to mention... I hate litter boxes. I don't how clean of a person you are, I can still smell the dang things. Not to mention, I prefer big animals. I want a pet that takes up half the bed. And my dogs definitely fit the bill on that one (they're huge and weigh as much as I do).

If it weren't for the gutter, my mind would be homeless.

i love cats! all my family does as well. i have 4 cats and 1 dog, but i would rather have more and more cats... i know i will end like the cat lady of the simpsons

Cats. They're quiet and don't need as much care. They don't eat as much either. But I'd rather have neither. Not a pet person. Not after every pet I ever had died one way or another... 😢

i grew up a dog person. ive always thought they were sooo cute and playful, but i never had a cat or was allowed to even touch cats because my mom is allergic to cats 😢
