Well, now at least we know that there will be a big fight between the 2 of them.
The interesting part was the "transferring Itachi's power to Naruto".

This is just a prelude of things to come. I find it un-Kishimoto-like though, that he skipped the whole Suigetsu&Kisame fight and the decision that the Konoha team made that they should stop looking and return to Konoha.

Usually he shows everything. It seems like he's hurrying or something. >_>

i don't think that he gave something that'll help in every fight, it's probably something that'll only work on sasuke, since itachi said that he hopes that the day naruto has to use that thing never come, meaning the day he has to protect konoha from sasuke.

at least now we know why itachi was weakened when he fought sasuke, he gave naruto some of his power. its pretty clear sasuke realizes he's spitting on his brothers grave, and its pretty clear that itachi chose konoha over his little brother in the end.

this power itachi gave him, i don't think it's a sharingan technique, he doesn't have the eyes to use it. what he might have given him is the ability to fully control the kyuubi, it appears that madara only summoned the kyuubi and never merged with it, but if naruto is already merged with it, and can use its power for his jutsus... the fact that jairaya let loose the key also leads me to believe this wil happen
