No menstruation, no pregnancy, no make-up, no getting bothered by drunkards and friends-friends and not giving a shit.
I could travel the world with nothing but a change of clothes and still feel good and save, I could sleep around and wouldn't have to deal with all the emotions and I could hit all those jackasses in the face and not chicken out because of my natural inferiority in strength.
I truly wouldn't care about anything but myself.

But I am a woman and I do care and I believe this makes me a better person.
So in conclusion, I may not like it all the time, but most of it's disadvantages might turn into rewarding experiences. Yay!...

I wish I was a male, for many different reasons. It has nothing to do with emotions or anything like that. Or makeup. I don't wear makeup as it is. I just hate having a female body with all its curses. I don't like the way I'm treated simply for being female, nor do I like assumptions made against me because I'm female. Both genders are discriminated against in certain ways, but if I got to choose, I'd much rather be a male in today's society (or any society past). I don't want children or marriage, and typically that is what is expected of a woman. But I am a woman unfortunately, so I guess I'll have to deal with it. [This isn't to say I think men are better. I believe in equality. I just think I personally would be better off if I was born as a male.] 🙂

Male of coz...I think its pity to be female...in my point of view, female needs to do everything....female always be a superwoman...so i get so jelous with male....they live a very comfort life...ya just look at my mom, she is working...8-5pm, when get home she need to do all the home work...from washing cloths, washing dishes, prepare for dinner, clean house, just name it (take care of baby)...then when she will get time for herself??but for male, they are so opposite...siting in front of tv, read newspaper, eat, do all the mess....but my father not like that he helps my mom....this the most what hv i seen, female is the most busiest than male....

Male, I've always felt like I fit in with the boys better. Now that I'm at collage no one knows me I feel at a loss with people treat like a girl. Also the added physical strength would be nice. I'm a very active person and hate it when I can't keep up with the boys who naturally have more strength. Have always wanted to deny that they were stronger but sadly its true 🙁
P.S. I make one hot guy and it is so much fun to hit on girls 😀

Male. I would probably get more freedom as a male (Probably not responsibility, but oh well ! :]), seeing as how I'm not allowed to even ride my bike outside alone, and I just turned 16 (Today, actually 🙂 ). We don't even live in some bad neighbourhood or something, it's Canada for god's sake.
I'm not supposed to talk to guys at all, difficult considering my violent tendencies toward boys :$.
And definitely more privacy. My parents actually want to know my passwords, so they know I don't talk to boys or random people online (oops xD).

Ah, well, guess I'll live with being a girl...there are some perks 😀

Naaah, I didn't mean to offend anyone by trivializing the complexity of men. 😉
It just seems to me that men can act however they please and somehow get away with it. Since this is, as Binturong stated, still "a man's world".
(Although in Germany men tend to be forced into feminine behaviour since we have a very serious case of "gender mainstreaming" here...it is becoming a problem for young boys to find their identity since they are forcefully compared to girls!)

I just meant that I would like to behave in that way and would feel this way, if I wasn't bound to a woman's physique.

I would prefer being female for various reasons. I am fairly good at putting together outfits for my female friends and most of my friends are girls. I don't really like guys much, avoid them like the plague most of the time. Kinda sucks being a guy as well because I get accused of things (peeking, staring, etc) even when I'm innocent. A major reason I would prefer being a girl is I can openly be the hopeless romantic I am without being treated like a freak.

@ewong1220: Try watching Maury and Springer. Guys can have quite a bit of drama in their lives, more so than women sometimes.
