By "proper" hermaphrodite I mean an ideal state where both sets of organs are fully developed (unlike in most real hermaphrodites, where one set or the other is underdeveloped). I'd want both and both fully functional, thanks.

Lol... I know it's puerile but imagine what sex would feel like with two sets of equipment? I mean it's already intense with just one, but with both a guy's AND a girl's parts, it would be insane-makingly intense, seriously. Given the way orgasms are physically "timed" in both sexes, your male half would go probably off first, and then your female half would go off again and again, and by that time your male half would have recovered, and... Off you'd go for another round! Can you IMAGINE? That would be the awesomest thing ever! Yeah I know I sound like a depraved lunatic but if you think about it, this would seriously be a major plus of being a hermaphrodite. Or maybe I'm just biased because of all that hermaphrodite fanfic I've been reading for the Pet Shop of Horrors fandom? 🤣

If possible I'd be a "guy" at work (or pass as one, if I'm a hermaphrodite), because guys tend to get paid more for the same jobs, and find it easier to get promotions etc. But in my private life I'd enjoy being male AND female, preferably at the same time. 😃

Does sex and gender really matter though? One day one feels more inclined towards traits that are traditionally seen as particulary male/female and the next day it might be the other way around. So... meh... I don't know.

I'm female and I don't particularly dislike it. I have reaaaaly nice boobs and I want them to remain in their place. PMS, period and stuff - I don't think it's such a problem. Some guys wrote that they don't want to have period, you don't know how it is so don't be so scared of it. We have 21st century it;s not such a big deal.

If I could switch my gender, I probably would do it. Moreover I would be gay (or bi). I like boys so much!

I'm a girl and there is no way in hell I'd change it. I love make up and shoppings. Make up can solve a lot of problems and guys don't usually have this advantage. And mainly because I look good enough so why spoil it?

After attending ettiquette class (my family is verryyyy traditional) I'm now going to have to say male. You guys get away with so much. Girls have to worry about everything like How to sit, stand, walk, what to wear for what occassions, how to set a table, how to talk, what tone you use, how to clean, how to run an "eco-friendly" home, how to cook, what to cook, how to eat, how to decorate, how to arrange flowers, how to paint, what expression to wear (they really teach these things). No really, there are so many rules, my brain is going to explode. Then there's you know ahem and childbirth shudder oh and pregnancy, that sucks too (so I hear...) Then there's curfews, and the danger of going anywhere by yourself, because no matter how strong you are a guy can probably overpower you if they wanted to (although I have to say, I've wrestled and won many of my guy friends). I can't even go camping by myself :/ which is like my favorite thing to do ever. Of course, I'm not a guy, so I have no idea what guys go through... can't be that bad, can it?

Oh my parent's aren't like that! My mom is super fiesty, but I live with my grandparents. I made a deal with them that I would take etiquette classes and be a presented as a debutante http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D%C3%A9butante (complete vomit) and they would pay for both my college (although I'm mostly on an art scholorship) and cooking school (in France, after I get a degree). So I'm actually pretty tough! (I just can't wait to get this over with...) Oh and as for being overpowered, I'm already pretty strong because I'm becoming a baker (weird, but you have to be pret`ty strong). I've taken self defense classes, but have no real talent or time to really practice, though I'm sure there are amazing women who are really stong, the majority aren't. It traces back to our prehistorical functions (I want to be a History major) women have more endurance, but men really just have more strength. Hm... but I see your point on males going through alot too! Now that I think about it, my brother's life has been no real walk in the park... I guess the grass just looks greener from the other side!

I like being female but get to enjoy the benefits of being one of the lads where my brother's friend are concerned. Unfortunately this means being subjected to porn and male humour as well.

The only time I've kinda wanted to be a guy was when I saw this really hot guy in the library late one night during exams. Just as I was working up the courage to talk to him another really hot guy turns up who was so my type it wasn't even funny that a minute later, obviously thinking they were alone, they kissed. The second guy worn a tight top that showed off his well defined body as well. I was just like 'damn it!'. True that all good guys are taken or gay.
