I was once really into J-rock, J-rap, J-gospel, J-R&B, J-reggea, visual kei, pop culture, fashion trends and now im only into korean hip hop and r & b. its crazy how reading a manga led me to such interesting discoveries, list below what reading a manga has led you to.
be it hobbies, music, vacations, career paths, foods, interest in cars, swords, samurais.

I hear you say "Why?" Always "Why?" You see things; and you say "Why?" But I dream things that never were; and I say "Why not?"

I guess I've learned a bit about culture. Mostly I've learned from manga that there are a lot of cliches never seen in real life.
As for "introducing me to" things... nothing really. My friends are the ones who tried to get me into J-Pop/Rock.
Go to work, send your kids to school;
Follow fashion, act normal;
Walk on the pavement, watch T.V.;
Save for retirement, obey the law.
Repeat after me: I am free.

I guess I got into J-pop and origami, but that's about it.
Unfortunately, the world of manga has also introduced me to my first creeper.

On topic...
Uhh... Not much really. Maybe... I learned a few Japanese terms? And manga has inspired me to take Japanese... I guess. Yup.

I've been introduced to all sorts of misinformation about Japan and Japanese culture 🤣
I get to see more works by artists/mangaka who publish works in the GLB, which makes me buy copies so that I can have the comics in published form.
Perfect Girl Evolution resparked my intrest in Kuroyume.
Manga has actually influenced my style of drawing I've noticed as the years have gone by.
It also got me intrigued about the Japanese culture, especially the food. Love that I have a Wasabi restaurant near my Uni. I go there for lunch everyday. It's brilliant 🤣

this site
its cold down here fam ~
beautiful music <3
Most everything in my life nowadays? I want to become a graphic novelist because I'm familiar with manga and like it so much. I've learned a lot of my morals from various anime/manga. I'm able to comprehend basic Japanese and am learning Chinese and Korean. I lack interest in most things real.

One of the few things that manga has introduced to me that I wouldn't otherwise have bothered with is Shinto. I mean, I knew it existed, before, but translations and such demanded some better understanding of it.
