I've been using this site for years (well at least baka-updates, I don't remember when I discovered manga-updates), but I never really paid attention to the forum. I've been watching anime and reading manga since a long time ago (I remember watching anime 20 years ago on TV, buying my first manga 15 years ago - akira!). I've been a big fan of shounen for a while until I discovered seinen. I try to read shoujo, but I have a hard time getting really interested in it. Seen fruit basket, bokura ga ita, kare kano and soon I'll try nana. I liked those anime quite a bit, but bokura ga ita was too slow (there is a recurring pattern, the beginning of the episode is fast, then it gets slower, and finally, the last 5 minutes are really too slow, that bugged me). I also liked love monster in shoujo manga. If you got something you think I should read, feel free to mention it! I'm a sucker for romance, but I don't like some patterns in shoujo, but it's a bit hard to explain.

Well anyway, The author I probably read the most is adachi, I read everything I could find 🙂 . Sport + romance is so good 🙂

After that my favourites would probably be : Eden, coq de combat (shamo in japanese), vagabond, and finally angel densetsu was soooo good!

Hey, pleased to meet you! If you can't get through shoujo, try josei, it's somewhat similar (aimed at women) but well, a bit more serious and not so clichéd 😉
