I can't remember the name of a manga where a girl starts off thinking she is destined to be with a guy at her school because she is the protagonist of her own story. This doesn't last long because because a more stereotypical shoujo protagonist shows up and starts dating the guy while the "Protagonist" ends up in more of a typical rival role.

Sorry, I can't remember much more about it, but I think that is the general premise. Any help would be appreciated.
