Some things are worth keeping, others are just better to be read online.

if i have the money
and i know its from one of my favorite mangaka i'll buy it

yet i mostly read new manga that hasnt came to america yet
so my best bet is online hosts or scanalation sites

but when i was yunger i used to collect a lot of manga i have them in a huge box right now since we moved.

why because i am the president of the student council of course

Mainly option 2 or 3 and also borrowing from the library (not in poll~). I only buy if I really love it and will read again. I rarely read online.

I get my scans straight from the source (if possible) since I don't have much patience. But ideally, I buy them later.

Option #2 for me, unless I can't find the scanlator in which case I go to hosting sites. But I hate online reading - annoys the crap out me with the flashing ads and such.
And then if I really love a series and it becomes available I buy it.
