Your manga resources

Two and four for me... though this is actually a new phenomena, because I used to just wait for releases on OM, or MF if it was an older release, with only the occasional nod to the source. But now that I'm on here more often I go strait to the source... most of the time. I still go to online readers.
Of course, I sometimes go to host sites or even lurk, but that's only if the group is dead/not hosting it anymore AND the release is not on any of the online readers.
As of today, I have yet to buy a manga, for it's going to be a special occasion since it's got to be a raw for me--not gonna purchase an English publication. Though, I already know the series I going to buy... it's just that I never have enough cash to get the volumes (I like eating to much).

I voted for "All of the above", but specifically, scans & purchased mangas.
I almost never read them online. Exception to Naruto. :3
If I like a series enough, and I'm lucky enough for it to be licensed, I'll purchase it!
All of them.
Mostly read them online. There are some series that I download and keep on my computer, in which case I either download them from hosting sites, or direct from the scanlator's website depending on the circumstances as such.
I also buy a couple of series that I'm into and know that I wont mind reading them again and again~

Sometimes I download manga, but usually I read it online. I never buy it, why bother, books only take excess space in your room.
I'll hug your problems away.

Mostly the first and fourth option. It'd be the first moreso had I more funds, of course.
I prefer downloading the manga from a hosting site rather than reading directly off a website, because that way I can refer back to the manga anytime I want. I also like to read manga on my PSP so its handy that way too.

It's all of the above for me too. I buy manga that I like, and how am I supposed to like it if I don't read it elsewhere?

I buy the manga I think is worth my money and the ones I think I would enjoy the most.
I hate reading things online...I get into it more when I have the book in my hands XD.
I only read things online when I'm checking something out, or when a new chapter of naruto or bleach is up (what can I say? lol)
claire here having some manga loving fun!
whatever that means....

Option #2 for me, unless I can't find the scanlator in which case I go to hosting sites. But I hate online reading - annoys the crap out me with the flashing ads and such.
And then if I really love a series and it becomes available I buy it.
Same here ^^. Actually I chose "all of above".
First I find recommendation, then I gonna check the artwork in manga reading online sites (etc mangafox). If the artwork please my eyes I gonna download 1 or 2 chapter to read first. If the story is good and I still interested in reading that series, I gonna download all of the series.
I love to collect my favourties series in hard copy. It is fun to read them again from time to time. If I get bored of them already, just sell them cheap and buy the new ones ^^
Done! 😎

All three forms of scanlation, though predominantly I use the online readers

I try to buy them at all possible. The only time I "cheat" and read them online is when the story is at a good part and I can't wait for the tokuban to come out!

I'm surprised that I'm all of the above.
I buy manga, but only if it's one volume long or a series that I really like. And I like to buy manga in Japanese if possible because then I can practice my Japanese and it puts my money where I'd rather have it go, but shipping is expensive.
I would go into debt if I bought everything I read. 😐
It doesn't really matter to me how I read scanlations. Download them from wherever I can get them or read them on a hosting site. I'm not messed up about it either way, but I guess I do tend to use sites more than I download.
