I do, but it never makes any sense whatsoever. They are often easy to read, but it's always insanly difficult to remember what you just read. Every once in a while you read something that sounds seriously scary. So you scroll up, losing your place, and try to figure out what in the world you just read. The most worrying is when you spot slang in the terms and conditions pages.

I'm stubborn, though!

Yeah no kidding. In the terms and service for apple's stuff it actually says to not use this to make nuclear warheads or something along those lines. Saw it myself when I had to accept an update for iTunes once, blew my mind (no pun intended 😛 ). Gotta love the search text function 😀

No matter if you read it or not, you have to accept or you will be excluded from the service.
And I'm dutch and we can reasonably easy remove parts from the terms and condition section that are unfair.

Dutch law ain't so bad

Don't usually read the unimportant ones (signing up for an online forum or something), skim the semi-important ones, read in fairly close detail the very important ones... but generally there are not that many things I sign up for/apply to that I think reading in such detail is necessary. The only one I can remember reading in particularly great detail was when I applied for my student loan. Oh, and rental agreements and such. Basically, if my money is involved, I wanna read it.

I did read recently that Sony have put a new clause in their PSN T&Cs which specify that you can't sue them. (Only in N America though.) And I read about some online retailer that jokingly put a new clause in their T&Cs so that if someone skimmed past without unchecking a certain box, they legally gave their souls into the possession of that company. 🤣 Most people didn't even notice, although this was pointed out to them afterwards so they'd read T&Cs more carefully next time.

I usually just browse through such pages, to see if there isn't anything weird I'm about to agree to. I read them more carefully when I'm supposed to reveal my name and address.
In my country there were cases of people being sent huge bills for downloading free programs, just because they didn't read the rules, where it was clearly written.

Not on the online forums, but I do skim over some of the more important ones.

I read- HAVE to read the first two sentences of every paragraph. I'm kinda paranoid about it, and two sentences are usually enough to find out what the paragraph is about.

Never, by the time I'm at the third line I'm already asleep so I just don't bother with it.
