Anyways...
I first look at body shape, then face, then mannerisms.
Although I always check for attractiveness first, over time personality can and usually wins me over.

I understand that attractiveness isn't everything... but why can't I have someone attractive AND great personality wise.

I think you need to get to know someone for some time before forming a proper impression of them in your mind.

Hmmm... nope. I don't go by first impressions. I mean... I live in Asia where image/appearances is everything but you know, I've met a lot of people who turned out to be total opposites of what they appeared to be. After all, it makes total sense that humans often conceal certain traits/aspects of themselves. So, I just go along with them for a while but also, make sure that I've got certain "exit plans" if I need to get away like only meeting in public places with a lot of people, not giving out all my personal details(only handphone number, not house number) and so on.

I don't pay too much attention to myself either... I mean, it's a waste of time spending hours every day applying makeup, doing my hair/nails, putting face/hair masks, coordinating outfits(from shoes to bags to blah blah), visiting beauty/hair/nail salons and so on... 🤢 <--- Like I've got nothing better to do. I used to do all these though but it's a sheer pain and also a real waste of money. ^^;; And after ending up with a ton of annoying people, I stopped hanging out with that crowd 'cos many of them didn't just turn out to be dubious, a lot were also really shallow.

As for discerning someone's personality, I base it on how others react around him and what they say about him, rumours, etc.
