I checked Daily Manga out - it is a nice site, but I like MU best.
(I'm not trying to suck up or anything, I just like the format, extensive info, and active but not too big forum - its cozy 🙂 )
The one thing that bothers me about this is that Wikipedia is openly editable by any member of the site.
So, if anyone has any issues with MU (Don't know why they would, we're a good community), they could openly edit and bash us.
Most times, when those things happen though, offending members are banned from Wikipedia, and if they do it multiple times, IP bans may happen. However, when that happens, the article becomes uneditable for a certain amount of time due to the offenders actions.
Either way, MU is fine as it is.
I don't believe ANN had any right to edit Wikipedia, as it isn't their site, or to state we had questionable content. Many of the staff of ANN have openly admitted to watching fansubs and reading scanlations. I wouldn't be at all surprised if a few of them probably have usernames on this site, completely different from ANN to have some anonymity.
On a interesting side note, the history of the Manga page on Wikipedia seems to list that alot of people are debating whether or not Osamu Tezuka should be cited in it or not.
Hmm, interesting.
