Naruto is good.. Period.. If Naruto wasn't great, I would've never even touched it.. I have so much more things to say, but that would be too long.. >.>

Objective Standpoint:
Artwork is okay..
Story is good with some twists..
Music is acceptable..
Character development is good too..
Equal character screen time sucks.. 🤣

I view Naruto and the like as 'Hype' mangas.. They've good potential to become world popular.. After all, there's fighting in it and even the smallest children can understand that.. While they do not understand more mature manga, which makes them in turn, less popular..

P.S.: There are haters for everything, you just have to accept that..

I think naruto is pretty good for its audience type. Its not overly violent or doesn't have long periods of complicated plot which can exclude younger audiences. But it has enough action and mature enough story at times to keep those who are older or prefer a more serious story interested enough to give it a read. I think it does pretty well in that respect and thats where its popularity came from, not exclude any possible reader. Alot of people compare it to the mangas aimed at a group who prefer more violence, complications or denser material but thats the same as comparing Harry Potter to Wheel of Time. Both great in their own respects but depending on what you prefer is going to make the difference. But I do think naruto does catch quite a bit of hatred for some reason. Only other series I have seen people so love/hate would be one piece.

I dont see how bashing other manga justify your claim that you are any more than a troll or fanboy who blindly follow and proclaim naruto as the greatest manga of all time. Its fine if you dont agree and argue your point intelligently but you just have to accept the fact that the majority of ppl in the world are idiots with the brain the size of a peanut who have no logical reasoning for liking and disliking things.

If you enjoy reading it, that should be enough. No need to be childish and get angry when someone express their hate for it or rate it a low score. If you learned anything from reading shounen manga or naruto, its that if you have to resort to fighting dirty at their level you are no better than they are.

this is really getting rediculous now...the other topic with amazingly long title was locked after how its contributors had shown immature attempts at critisizing others for the mangas they read, and now someone else is trying to revive that same arguement

@Daedalus - if you're so pissed at people leaving bad critiques & comments, why don't you send PM's to them DIRECTLY...it's absolutely inexcusable for anyone to openly insult others for their opinions, even worse, listed their usernames as an attempt to alienate those people...honestly, if you truly like naruto, and you are highly confident that naruto is a great manga, then there's no reason why you'd have to be all defensive and such towards people who you don't even know, just because they don't find it as appealing as you do...as i said before, if you're really worked up because of those comments, then ask the authors directly through the system of PRIVATE MESSAGING (seems like everyone has forgotten about its existence around here)...this childish bickering really annoys me...a manga forum is for manga discussions, where people display their opinions of whether they like a certain manga or not...you're creating this thread as a attack aim directly at individuals who conceived different opinions than you are, and that's not cool...you're so stuck in the world of naruto to even lose your objectivity...

Well to begin with bashing bashers and haters will not get anyone anywhere. It just leads to flame wars and people begin to deviate from the original topic in order to degrade their "opponents". Honestly I can not see why people would argue over such material. If you like the manga, leave it at that. If you don't, that is also fine. There is no universal list of manga which everyone should read/like. Likewise there is no mandate which states you can not hate a manga. Constantly worrying over the ratings others give is a sign of obsessiveness. If everyone on this forum would give Naruto a 1 and brought it down to a low score (say a 3), would that change anything? I would argue it would not simply because the series already has advent fans who will read/watch it regardless. I myself really enjoy Naruto. I am up to date on every chapter of it, and every episode released (yes even the two years of fillers, movies, ovas, etc.). Do I care if john_smith_cat_lol_69 hates it and wishes everyone who reads it would gouge out their eyes? Of course not. Do I care if my favorite mangas don't have 10s all across the board? Nope. Doesn't bother me one bit. I can't possibly see why you let it bother you so much. And when you begin to belittle other series because "OMG IT'S NOT NATURO SO IT SUXORZ LOLZ!!1!1one" then you begin to lose credibility and authority over the subject matter. But seriously, at this point, i think its pretty obvious what your opinion is Daedalus. Same with you Silverado. And i have yet to see one person either come out and defend their "omg Naruto ownz 10/10" or their "omg Naruto sucks 0/10" nor have i seen anyone come out and say, "well, i never thought of that, maybe i should change my opinion". So although I'm not saying stop, I'm just saying I don't see the point in constantly venting how raged you are at people who don't like Naruto.

P.S. : On the subject of Naruto, i watched the anime first, so I'm sort of bias when it comes to the manga. Everything pre-time skip i love, while everything post time skip i find sort of odd, or feeling different. So i don't really like the story where it is right now, though its not bad, it just doesn't feel like Naruto to me, if you know what I'm saying ( I can't really put it into words, sorry). And I agree Silverado, Lone Wolf and Cub is underrated. read a few volumes here and there, and I've found it very good.
