Also, the site isn't just for people who read scanlations. It's for the series, authors, and readers of those series regardless of their language competence. So, the category is apt.

The first link from google on the matter.

It's a male tsundere. I have asked before to have it combined with tsundere and some other category that I can't remeber at the moment; however, it was rejected.

@Sooky: its not useless in fact it's pretty handy, especially since there is quite a few fans that want to learn Japanese at one point.

Its also quite handy for me as well considering i'm studying Japanese and tend to read most of many in Japanese lately 😛

@Dafat-MKII: thanks for detailed explanations even though i already presumed its something like that out of Sookys description.

if i want to add/make a new type of category(ies) where should i put the suggestion? (sorry if it's a dumb question)

In order to make a new category, you first need a series that has it.
Click on the edit button next to the word "categories" in the manga's name.
Then you will be directed to a window that has the listing of the categories used for that particular series. Be sure to follow this: "Add a set of categories below. Please look over the existing set of categories for the series before adding a new one. If your category does not receive sufficient support from the community, it will be deleted."

Check if there's such a category by clicking on "Categories" on the right (under Genres).

I was told that netorare is the act of stealing one's girlfriend.
But here's a nice, detailed explanation:

Netorare (寝取られ) are games where someone steals the heroine away from the protagonist.

These types of games are designed to cause the player to have sexual jealousy.

For a game to be classified as Netorare the following conditions must be met:

  1. The heroine must be close (osananajimi, etc.), romantically involved or a close relative (sister, mother, etc.) with the protagonist.

  2. If it is an eroge, related sexual events are explicitly shown to the player or later described in detail.

Aliases:
NTR
affair
cheating

Netorare can be even without girlfriend stolen. For example the guy can idolize the girl from afar and then see her going out (and some details of sex) and it causes him anger/jealousy/rage and per it fro the reader who takes the hero's POV (which is why NTR is often called rage manga).

GE for example is Netorare manga though no real stealing happens because Utsu wasnt even going out with Shou (they only planned to), but it still falls under nTR category even though the level of rage intensity is smaller than a true type A NTR.

mind break... It's when the mind breaks...
As in a person gets to a point were everything shuts down... and the character just can't deal with the crap that's going on in the story.

If you read some of the series in the category... you can make your own definition for the category. Also, the link was the first one search result in google.

Thank you, Toto. 😀 I thought it was going to be something disgusting, like eroguro, so I was extremely uncomfortable with looking it up. But I know what it is now and it's not bad at all. 🤣

Quote from Chibi-Chibi

found tag tanbi today and i have no idea what it means.

O_o I googled it (urbandictionary came up) and I still don't quite get it. .-.

Quote from from urbandictionary

Tanbi style includes flowery language and uncommon kanji/words, which makes it a difficult read for foreigners.

So... flowery language... what? lol There's no way to tell how difficult it is to read since majority are reading scanlations. What a useless tag.

I added that tag myself 'cos:

  1. it was to prevent confusion with tags like eroguro(I'm referring to the lighter type), surreal(the story might not really fall under that), etc. and it would have some use for people interested in content with similar atmosphere(read point 2) and also those who are trying to dwelve into non-translated Japanese content. There're cases where I've seen people add anything under the sun, when they can't find an appropriate or equivalent tag.

  2. Tanbi isn't just about flowery language and uncommon kanji/words, it's about dark and decadent atmosphere, utterly beautiful and often androgynous males and if I'm not wrong, that's what many early June publications used to be like.
