I'm wondering at the moment if I can have suggestions for manga where the main girl/ woman is career- orientated in some way. At the very least, a girl or woman who has some ambition other than to get married to her boyfriend in the future (although I won't say no if there is romance, just not a character who's head is filled only with a boyfriend). I hope I'm describing that clear enough. Any suggestions from any genre would be great. thanks for suggestions.

The girl in Bakuman wants to be a voice actress so she fits the career oriented part but she isn't the lead by any means. Still the manga is awesome imo, so you should check it out 😀

Starts out yes....continues? Nope. The career part in MS only really influences the huge romance/smut part of it.
