You forgot the logic of "beautiful men are meant to be together!". I've actually seen that in a fanfic description, and it confused me so much that I couldn't find an answer. How on earth is that logic? By that logic, the most beautiful man and beautiful woman in a series should be a couple (and they may or may not be - in this series, pretty people are ending up together, so I don't understand why that logic shouldn't apply to them) because they're "beautiful", and there's a better chance of them being happy because they're of the opposite gender.

Logic is naruto is a man AND he likes woman, so we WON'T pair up with sasuke(I'm not really sure about sasuke wishing such a thing too...he really didnt like their experience on the first ep) Be ugly of beautiful, true love have nothing to do about these things, its about two destinys tied together, not their way of looking!

I get your point that you don't like it, but nobody is forcing you to go to the galleries with yaoi wallpapers, or to the sites with yaoi fanfiction, or anything. Fandom policy is clear: If you don't like, don't go to those sites.

Some sites have a mix of all types and you don't get a choice when viewing due to poor organization or very vague link descriptions.

But I don't get why straight girls obsess about Yaoi sometimes.. I mean, straight guys like some Yuri too.. But they're not actively searching for it.. At least I'm not.. When it's accidentally in the manga, then yay.. But when it's not, I don't really care much about that..

Are you sure you're seeing yaoi wallpaper? ._. I thought you were referring to shounen-ai stuff at first, but then you said that it's not romance but buttsecks... And if you are finding wallpapers of that sort, I'd have to agree. That's pretty disturbing.

Sure, it's not canon, but you can find stronger hints of it than other pairings (like ShikaIno or JiraiyaxTsunade). (Examples: the accidental kiss, the whole "ZOMG SASUKE I'LL BRING YOU HOME NO MATTER WHAT D<" bit, Sasuke's "death," etc.) So, I can understand why people might use those occurrences in the manga/anime and make assumptions/read a bit further into them. It's not like all these fangirls (and a few fanboys) are just pulling it out of thin air.

Please don't bash on me just because I’m a supporter of the all too famous SasuNaru pairing. Some may find it disgusting or whatever, but a wide variety of girls likes Yaoi and shounen-ai. Not only that but the only changing in character comes from people who are not professionals and are too dumb to figure out a way to get them together. Anyone who is a professional can do that without making it seem like a different character.
Don't tell me that I’m stupid because, you're right to a degree. Strange pairings do sometimes make me stare at the screen like it's the dumbest thing on the planet and that these people are retarded beyond all reason, but, these people either picture themselves as one of the characters and thinks the other character is cool and what-not, or they just do it to piss people off.
You also cannot blame everything that's Yaoi on the fan girls. Because I think of things sensibly, some fan girls really piss me off sometimes and on occasion I want to beat them to a bloody pulp because, yes, some of them are stupid and need to be punched. But for the sake of not pissing off the rest of the Yaoi fan girl population, do not try to push it all onto us.
I have RP a lot. Almost all my male characters are gay. And you know what? I like my characters. Some of them used to be straight but I found ways to switch that around and have made some of the most romantic Yaoi couples in the world. So I don’t find anything including Yaoi to be gross, because there’s a lot more disturbing things out there.
And seriously people. If that many people hated it, why would it get published? Why would it have its own little section in the manga store if so many people hated it so much? Why would Yaoi doujinshis still exist if people didn’t like them enough to buy them? And obviously enough people think Sasuke and Naruto should be together since the pairing of Naruto and Sakura rank lower than the fan-made pair.
If you people were smart enough to figure out what things are Yaoi and what things are not when you’re reading something, there are usually warnings stating the pair and to what degree of Yaoi or shounen-ai content are in them. So don’t be dumb. It’s not like we try to force it on people, we only try to protect what we think is cute. The people who usually start the fights on pairings are the non-fans of Yaoi stating how much that pairing’s stupid or disgusting.

And for the love of King Neptune people! Learn your anime terms before you start talking crap about peoples genres! I’m becoming disappointed in the Otaku population of today…

Shounen-ai is a relationship between two or more men, usually young boys. This is Soft-core because the characters are either not old enough to know how to do that type of stuff, or they are just experimenting with their new love.

Yeah, it all depends on whether or not you want to read further into the relationship or not. In the series, it's just a strong friendship or a kind of brotherly bond, but it doesn't take much more than a few people to read a bit further into their interactions to make it more than that.

As for the fact that they're thirteen... In today's society, it's probably not all that weird for thirteen-year-olds to be kissing. (But it is rather disturbing when fanfiction authors take it further while keeping the two at that age... shudder)

Most of the pairings problems would be the fact that the Naruto series isn't meant to be a romance, there-for, when people read it they try to figure out who likes who blah-blah-blah. And we take some of those hints into thinking that some of the characters actually like whoever it is and then we get people who don't wan to think so because of something the character said.

Lol. Yes. The disturbing thing I find about fanfiction authors who write about young people shounen ai is that....when they are watching anime or reading, are they thinking about how cute itd be to see them make out?
I think about some of the cute bishies ya, but I dont really think about, say, Light coming onto L, even though it was hinted in the episode where him and L were taking cover from the rain and L gave Light a foot massage....that was so random and disturbing...lol.
