Genetic mutated baby?

Just thought I would get peoples thoughts on this little story I found.
I was reading the sun when I discoverd that 2 black Nigerian parents had given birth to a white, blue eye, blonde baby (no, it's not an albino). Now if you know your sciences a little...you'll know what a dominant gene is.
The first thing I thought was, "obviously the wife's been around XD" but according to the doctors DNA test the childs dad was the correct one. So this should technically have been imposible by all standards. 🤣
you can look at the artical if you like. (can't be botherd to impart on the little details.) Oh and the picture is in that link too.

SO what do you think?
Was this just some freak show?
A mutation 😲

or just an acourance by chance ...We never know what may come out.

i can only think that if they are definately the childs parent then it would have to be a mutation but the chances of this occuring is ridiculously small but considerring the worlds population the these things do happen
just looked at the article and....
i don't mean this to be offensive though i know it obviously is but that is one ugly baby
how is that even possible 😲

Pretty amazing! The article mentions "genetic mutation", I sure hope there are no nasty side effects to it.

And some where in the world, a white couple gave birth to a black baby. lol 🤣
i don't know what to say but it is going to be awkward for the child growing up.
I think it could work, but if it would be pretty cool if we can somehow evolve ourselves with wings and other "attachments". 😃

i was thinking that they might have some other blood mixed in... but then the article said "neither Ben nor wife Angela have ANY mixed-race family history" so.. there goes that theory... guess it is a mutation...but who cares.. its that guys child so no problem. might be some bullying when she grows up... cuz people will say that she doesnt fit in with either group but hopefully by then society will be more accepting.

No one can really say they don't have "ANY" mixed-race history. Everyone is descended from the same unicellular organism in the end. Still pretty cool-looking, though.
I bet her hair will be darker when she gets older.

It's more likely that the infant will get darker as she ages, as it's not uncommon for babies of African decent to be pale when born then gradually darken. However, we won't know the cause unless the child is observed and tested, but this might not be what is best for the child or her family.

well you might think age will bring about change. Sounds logical but i don't think change will be THAT drastic. I think the most baffeling part is actualy the eye colour...Blue eyes. Brown eye colour is a dominant gene, Blue eyes are recesive genes. Both parents have brown eyes. Its virtualy impossible for that outcome, unless its mutation 🤣

Almost all children, regardless of race, have blue eyes when they are born. Then, they gradually change to the eye color they will have for the rest of their lives. It is not that big a deal.

good to see people being skeptical. They could be lying i guess. However, we don't know if that baby will have blue eyes or not.
Blue eye colour was originaly a mutation to begin with in the first place. Blue eyes were never always around...acording to studies.
Just saying...its possible 😛
