because it adds life to the characters. Makes them seem more real and human not some emotionless robots. And there is also the fact that its only natural for people to fall in love when they spend enough time together.

never bothered to read it, but as i recall harry potter ended that way, with an epilogue where all the characters meet at the train station sending off thier kids to hogwarts. and with the recent way inuyasha just ended almost the same way, i could totaly see it time skipping into the future with naruto as hokage with sakura/sasuke and thier kids running around just becoming genin. of course at the rate naruto is currently going we wont have to suffer this typical and tired ending for another what 3-4 years...

Umm, I think this is kind of waaay too late to prevent THAT!. Have you seen the amount of Naruto Doujinshi? I mean for just yaoi part there is like hundreds if not thousands and for every single character including the most minor and ugliest ones?! The answer to "why do Kishimoto even make girls/guys crushes?relationships?..." is because in every manga/book/life there is a thing like falling in love. It's simply normal, it should be wrong if there weren't such a thing, then it's up to the mangaka to choose how far to delve on the matter.

So in short Naruto will surely marry Sasuke at the end of the manga. 😀
I never saw a manga character so obsessed in rescuing his princess. And, come on, they already kissed, the non written rule of all manga is "first come, first served" so Sakura should just give up. 🙂

I agree totally. Naruto's obsession with Sasuke is downright scary. That kiss also makes it quite obvious that their relationship is what everything is really all about. A wedding definitely seems a possibility with how the manga was going when I dropped it.

Sakura should give up on both of them and go realize how much Ino means to her.

As for the topic, I don't see how the characters being made to seem human and, developing romantic feelings for each other is a bad thing. It draws the girls into the fandoms, and In my opinion made the series (back when i followed it) more interesting than it would have been had it been romance free.

For one none of the relationships are seriously implied (well except the whole Sasuke obessession). I'm sure (to my utter dismay but also great pleasure) Naruto will get a girl and not Sasuke/ Or he'll die and leave Sasuke full of guilt.
Since this a Shonen series the relationship wil be a heterosexual pairing which is fine by me as long as it's not Hinata (can't stand her). But Sasuke had no interest in women and Naruto is too much of stalker to think of anyone else 🤣
Like others said: Kishi is doing this to gather more fanbase. Like he knows most of the readers are fujoshi (yaoi fangirls) so he includes implications and draws more readers. It's evil but it works. Lol He can also take us by surprise and it will be some heavily implied SasuNaru ending. Or the typical epilogue of Naruto married to either Sakura or Hinata with many little fox children 😐
