Hey guys, lately my internet has been kinda shakey, so I'm looking for one of those programs that control one's downloads and can continue broken downloads. I used to have one on my old computer but I cant remember what it's called, any suggestions?

FireFox 3 should have one built in, I think. If all else fails then try searching for "download managers" on Google.

DownThemAll! + Firefox3.... should be all you need.

Firefox 3 can resume broken downloads. If you want faster DDL's, get the DownThemAll plug-in for Firefox3, but it doesn't work for all sites (eg: works for mediafire but not rapidshare, I think)

Also a good bitTorrent program, but I think you know that already.

Your options may differ depending on the OS you use.

Cheers!

Well my recommendation maybe a little weird but I recommend using irc. Faster for me than downloading from the browser and also can resume broken downloads

Opera's build in download manager all the way B-), better than Firefox's imo.
