Recent fantasy movies that isn't Lord of the Rings, or crap
Don't know much about it and it isn't even out yet, but "Seventh Son" looks fairly decent. Also, another one I haven't seen (but I did read the book) is "The Giver" but I've heard people say it was pretty terrible. Ooh, and I just remembered "Maleficent" which was a kinda awesome movie actually.

Hubby and I just watched i, Frankenstein tonight. Maybe because I haven't seen any really good sci-fi/fantasy movies I really really enjoyed this. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. The way the demons "die" is pretty cool. shrug There were a ton of things I liked about it. I'd watch it again 😀

I thought I, Frankenstein was an ok movie, but I didn't really like how it REAAALLY sets things up for a numer of (at least 665) sequels... (He's only up against ONE of the 666 legions)

Solomon Kane (2009) is ok btw. Another Robert E. Howard creation.

I liked King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, but I have seen some people critical about the film. Also, I heard that The Great Wall with Matt Damon was a good film.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword was good. Fun to watch. I liked it, but some of my friends didn't. The Great Wall... was ok. Cool monsters and nice fights.
