Hey, I just realized that I'm starting to write a lot of responses to things people say here on the MU forms, then realizing half way through that its probably not worth the effort, so I just cancel the post. It made me wonder, how often does everyone else being writing something then stop because they realize how pointless the post is?

Yes, i delete alota my posts half way through, since they aren't exactly nice, alota the time.

I cancel before I start writing, usually because I notice that someone had already stated what I was going to say. If I tak the time to write something, I am going to post it

i'd say a good 15% of the time.

Probably over 20%. I decide it won't accomplish anything, or I don't have anything worthwhile to say or contribute (although that's the case sometimes when I do post anyway, I suppose). The frequency increases with lower caffeine levels and late night hours.

i agree with ahoaho. i only did it a few times maybe less but i canceled some because its already been submitted by some one else, its slightly considered spam,or i just think its 2 stupid 2 even bother pushing the submit button
