One reason I would like Ichigo to end up with Rukia is because those were the first 2 characters to be introduced in bleach, plain and simple. Lame reason I know, but it is still a reason nonetheless. Rukia was the one who awakened his powers, she was also partly responsible for his hollowfication. She is also the reason why he strived to become stronger(and achieved bankai). She also pushed him towards fighting his inner hollow. Lets face it, if this was a romance manga, these would be the perfect couple.

Unfortunately, Kubo is very weak in this department, just when you think they would become romantically involved, he throws a curvball in the form of Renji and Orihime. In all honesty, when I first saw these characters I thought "they would make a cute couple."

I personally have nothing against Orihime, she got the ability that even arrancar fear(lolly and menolly comes to mind), but I don't know, I just can't see her with ichigo, Ishida maybe, but ichigo... doubtful.

Ishida is a human, Orihime is a human, though ichigo is a shinigami, so is rukia. You do the math, just don't point out the facts that ichigo right now is closer to hollow then a shinigami, and that he is still living human, but thats the discussion for different topic.
