I actually use to think badly of baseball before, until one of my friends showed me that I couldn't hit any of his fast balls... even though he only claims to throw at 80-85 mph (which was either a vast understatement or that is still insanely fast to some1 who has never held a baseball bat).
I went to watch a couple of baseball games while I was living/working in Japan a few years ago with some friends. There's a lot of psychological warfare going on that most people don't see, and it really opened my eyes (although, watching it on TV is still boring). Just like you, I too used to think of it as a gathering of blokes who pop steroids with their beer, but some of the pros had forearms the size of my thighs, and they run much faster than it looks on the TV.
Also.... trying to hit a home-run in real life, only to see your ball travel a few yards is extremely demoralizing (I blamed it on the bat).
Not really a fan of all those Koshien/Adachi manga, though.... except for Ookiku Furikabutte.

U mean Parkour, rite?!.... Moving from point A to B, climbing walls, buildings, Équilibre, Demitour, Lâché ....etc.
Be careful man.... always wanted to try that, but no one in my area does it, so I don't wanna look like a muppet by myself.
Really loved that B13 movie.
yeah i mean Parkour. in my city(Munich) there is a group, they are making introduction of this sport to the beginners every 1st saturday of the month, so it'll be this saturday. It is really awesome to move like this.^^

It's good to know there are groups like these that open up the sport to beginners. Stay safe.

thx, i know it'll be very hard and i'll try to stay safe.
and maybe there is already a group in your area, if you don't see them on the street it doesn't mean there is nobody who is doing it, for example i've never seen somebody doing this in my city on the streets, but i know few places where the people are meeting.

YEAH! Go soccer!! I love lots of sports though, I like contact sports. Like basketball, softball, football, soccer, lacross, volleyball, and I like tennis too. Sports is the only thing I'm looking forward to when school starts again.

I like soccer, swimming, badminton, karate, volleyball, tennis, and ice skating. I'm okay at soccer and volleyball. I haven't played tennis in a long time. I used to do swimming and ice skating. I love badminton and sometimes play it at school. I still do karate and have been for 8 years so far.

I voted volleyball because it is my favorite on the list. I really like football(not soccer) and boxing(watching not doing it 🙂 )

I guess out of the poll options, it would be;
Swimming & Track but I voted for Swimming.
But I'm an Ultimate player for sure. Frisbee takes skills my friends, so I feel slightly insulted it's not on there. 😀

Soccer yes!
I think I've been playing it since I was about 6-ish. That's the only thing I could have appreciated about my dad. He would take me to the park and play soccer with me whenever I asked.
I'd also have to say kayaking, whitewater rafting, and of course, bicycling.
American Football FTW. Then Basketball. Then Soccer.
Why isn't American Football on the Poll?! Blasphemy!!!

I don't have a favorite sport. I fail at all of them anyway.

I voted tennis, since it's the only sport I'm pretty good at (I played it for fifteen years... after that long, you HAVE to have learned something!).
I'm not a fan of watching sports, though: my friends had to drag me to see soccer matches and stuff like that. I enjoy playing just about everything (even if I'm not very good at them), but not watching them.
