Hello dear fellow manga fanatics, I'm looking for a particular manga or manhwa I really enjoyed in the past. A key element was that the MC did not come from another world or have experiences with gaming, similar to Infinite Level Up in Murim .

In the story I remember, the main character has a life-counter system, showing messages like ‘x lives left’ upon death / before revival. In the first few chapters, we find out that they are able to kill enemies to earn more lives. Enemies, allies, or NPCs' names appear in front of the MC, color-coded by threat level.

Setting was Murim, cultivation, and/or martial arts.

I don't remember if it was Korean, Chinese, or Japanese. The time frame I read it would be in the last few years & the art was certainly that fresh. I'm not sure if it was officially published in English or if it was just scanlated by a group unofficially.

At some point, the MC gets some additional powers. One of the powers is an "auto-fight" skill. The auto-fighter turns out to have a whole damn personality & starts coaching the MC before starting to push the MC to think about the world setting.

I remember this being an extremely interesting manga and can't remember for the life of me if I finished it, dropped it, etc... It must have been after a binge of manga & then slowing down my reading for sometime.
