For me it's Italian. French is indeed a romantic language, but the Italian language has that special something that makes it so lovely. :-D

I'm going with Latin. Beautiful, cold, logical Latin. But, sadly, it's not spoken very often today.

there is no doubt that it is Italian even insults sound good. the worst for me has to be German no offense to anyone but it sounds dirty even "i love you" sounds wrong in German.

If this is about how a language is spoken I understand why Cantonese Chinese isn't there.. It is DEFINITELY not a romantic sounding language lol.. But since this topic is just about how the language conveys love and romance.. I think any language can do that pretty well 😀 !

You wouldn't be saying that if you ever went to a piazza full of italians trying to sell you something. 🤣

Portuguese was romantic decades ago. If you read old poetry, you'll definitely feel touched, even if you don't understand very well. It simply sounds nice. But nowadays I think Portuguese lost its romanticism. Maybe because I speak Portuguese. =/ Even if I heard people saying romantic stuff in dramas (for example), it doesn't sound as beautiful as it used to be.

I voted for Italian, because I'm taking French classes and I don't find it that romantic anymore. I think it's because is really difficult for me to say even the simplest thing (like "bonne soir"). Spanish sounds very nice too... I've heard some songs in Swedish and it sounds really heart-moving. It's very beautiful, but since I don't know Swedish very well, I decided to vote for Italian, that's is also beautiful (well, sometimes).

French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish are four of the six most widely used Romance languages, so any of those four.

In any case, I chose Italian just because it sounds awesome.

Russian, Italian, or French.

I think I'm biased with Italian because I'm half Italian; my father (and his entire family) was born there and only moved to the U.S. after he was mostly grown. Whenever I visit my grandparents (referred to as Nonna and Nonno), everyone speaks Italian, and my dad even speaks it sometimes at home. I still remember all the Italian lullabies he sang to me when I was little, and I hear it spoken all the time, so I think it's a very beautiful language. ^__^

I take French in school and I plan on studying abroad in France some time in the future... like people have mentioned before, it's just extremely fluid, rolls off the tongue, and things sound so much more sensual in it. :3

As for Russian, I think it's beautiful, too. I remember reading a passage from one of Eva Ibbotson's novels where the narrator is describing how utterly breathtaking the language is -- how everything is an endearment, how people are called "stars" or what-have-you... I'm too lazy to quote the passage, but I think it was an extremely accurate description. 🙂

So, overall, one of those three. <3

Well, I'm suspect to talk, but I think the Portuguese language is the most romantic. At least, the sound of words - especially those statements - is extremely strong. Then I would say that English and Japanese. I don't like the French language, does not sound pretty. The reason I will not remember now... Italian language is also pretty strong, but I don't know if it would be a romantic language.

Well, anyway, this is only my humble opinion. xD

Those weird African languages where they speak making clicking noises with their tongue.
Why you ask.
Obviously, because you can still talk normally while making out. 😀

i think its more how things are worded and the tone, rather than the sounds of the syllables themselves, worded correctly any language could be as romantic as anyother.
The stereotypes of languages like French are because thats just how they say things, which could be done with any language, it just isnt as often...

A random guy holding a rose speaking giberish in french= (romance)...The usual stereo type 🤣
And then mixing english with french is the SUPER bane cheese of romance.

8 votes on english? 😲 who's tripping on crack? Seriously they must be taking some hardcore s*&t 🤣

I believe in letting people do as they wish, as do I myself. Sometimes, of course, what I wish to do is kill them and they do not wish to die. This gives life interest.
