I've been to several Barnes & Noble bookstores at different times, and I think the lack of yaoi is a common occurrence :/ My theory is that they avoid stocking yaoi outside of the company BLU. And even then, on my latest trip, all I remember seeing was Junjo Romantica, probably because it's a longer series. At least Borders doesn't do that >>

Heh, it's almost impossible. I already live in Brazil, where most people need to translate even from english to portuguese to read mangas, and I live in a very small city(25~30k people). I only know 3 people who read mangas/watch animes, and without internet, none of us would know about it.

It would be simple enough to get hold of a few series that I'm following, but if I stopped using the internet, I'd be dropping 95% or more of the manga I'm reading, including most of my favorites.

In my country there are enough shops that sell manga. Not only the main stream manga, but also some less popular ones. But at the shop I frequent, they try to get some manga I like every week, they just never get delivered.

I'm looking for about 1year for a volume, and they are requesting it every week, but it just won't deliver.

Anyways: I put in "it would take more money", cuz I'm a student and college is pretty expensive. If I got like 500 euro's extra a month, it would be very easy to buy the manga I love, but right now I just can't pay for them. I really hope manga will be on the web for a long time, as I found manga trough the web and would never have bought them if I didn't know it, as comics are usually for little children, and not teenagers to adults.
