Never been to a convention, but I want to go at least once. I've been saying this for the last 7 years though.

I went to Otakon about... Wow, 10 years ago now. Or it will be ten years this summer. Too many people.

That's a lot of conventions! I get lucky if I get to go to 2 per year!

I love going to conventions for the ambiance and people. I like meeting other people. Even the cringey ones. Majority of the time spent is meeting up with photographers for photo shoots. I've been going to conventions for 10 years, 2017 being my 11th year attending AX in a row. My cosplay group has met some really cool people there who we're still in touch with. So far, I haven't attended too many conventions in California, but my favorite conventions are in Texas. I fly there once per year.

Sadly, I may not have a cosplay group anymore since we're all going our separate ways. 2017 may be my last time with the group and then it'll be solo stuff for me.
