When I do, it's not by choice. Not that I need manga, but it's how I relax and burn time without streaching my brain.
In fact, I just went last weekend without manga. My computer completely died on me and since I was just home for the holidays, my family wasn't giving me any privacy to read it. Finally back at it, though. Not able to spend as much time, but at least I'm able to kind of keep up.

I'm not really attached to manga like some of you guys here. I stop reading manga, because a good book I can't put down, games, or just cause. Actually if I think I haven't read a single chapter in over two weeks, no real reason just didn't feellike it.

I haven't really tried that since I started like... this March. There's not really a need to stop. Anime or some other form of entertainment can easily make me turn away from manga but I always crawl back to it one way or another.

I tried it... it sadly didn't work.
I lasted like 1-3 weeks without manga/anime and all I can say that my hobby was to sleep and sleep. It was the most boring time in my whole entire life. I seriously went through a lot of manga-withdrawal symptom... =___=
I was tempted to reread my manga, because I was trying to get used to the idea of not living in a place where bookstores sell manga.. but I couldn't... I gave in..and it was the most awesomest thing in the world. <3

I guess I have, not really by choice, just out of pure busyness. But when I started reading again, I didn't feel like manga withdrawl end, etc. It was fine. Manga is not a huge part of my life, nor do I ever define myself as a person who loves anime.

Not hard for me at all, it is not that important to me. It helps occupy my time when I am bored though.

I didn't read a single manga for most of 2006 and 2007... When you get so far into it that you're living and breathing the stuff, eventually you just want to get out. I'm sure I'll go into manga retirement again sooner or later.

(felt good to read it again, though... lots of stuff happens in a year and a half)

I am right now. Thanks to my lack of a computer to read it on. It's not a very pleasing thing, lemme tell ya.

I can quit anytime I want. I swear. And no that's not my hands shaking, or my eye twitching.

I did but only because there were no updates. So I stopped and I did find. Then I came back. 😀
Now if you ask me to live without it, I can't. D:
The updates are still really slow but at the moment I'm working my way through all of the oneshots. xD
Well, not all of them, but that's what I'll continue to read if there are no updates. D:

I quit whenever I can't find a good internet connection, or go on vacation, or get lost in a new video game, or...

Well, I know I'm not permanently attached to the stuff.
