DOOM Scared my shitless the first time I came up against one of those transparent guys, it didn't help that it was 2 AM at the time, in a dark room no lees.

Multiplayer would be the mod Hidden: Source, I love it 😮 .

I would have said Deus Ex but it really is more of an rpg, its just played from a first person view...

1. Counter-Strike (PC)
   The only reason I ever play FPS games are for multiplayer and this had me hooked for a few years.

2. Team Fortress 2 (PC)
   I think this might be the game that replaces CS for my favorite FPS but I'm going to give it a year or two.

3. Goldeneye 007 (N64)
   Pure nostalgia I guess. It was this or Doom as my first FPS ever and I loved the game so much I played it until I stopped getting motion sickness.

Honorable mention... Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PS3)
I think this is the only FPS I have ever finished singleplayer on. It is a short game I guess... I didn't care much for the straight up shooting parts after the first few levels but I loved the change of pace in the...

sniper missions and the Death from Above level.

I would also like to say that I am NOT a FPS fan because I get motion sickness from seemingly half or most of them. If you count Portal as an FPS, I guess it would be an honorable mention too.
