One character that stuck out for me: Melfina

She was the plainest character on the show in terms of looks and personality. The other girls, Aisha, Suzuka, and Hilda, all had better art (better bodies, faces, clothes/fashion, hair), more skills, more colorful personalities...

... I guess that, for me, it served to highlight the fact that Melfina's just a friendly, well-mannered girl. Easy to get along with and sweet.

For a girl, anything else is a bonus (non-essential) to me.

Well, for male, if I must pick only one then I think I'd say Germany from Hetalia. Though, I have a feeling he'd make me get up at the struck of dawn and make me do twenty pushups. But still, I can't hate him. He's the first character I've loved so much. If not him I'd choose either Miles Edgeworth (Ace Attorney) or Grell Sutcliff (Kuroshitsuji).

It's hard to pick just one so I'll limit myself to two choices: it would have to be either Kenzo Tenma (Monster) or Kuranosuke (Kuragehime).
