I like this question, because who you would marry is very different from who you think is hot / cool / sexy. Someone who wants to take over the world may turn you on, but would not be very comfortable to live with - all that scheming and plotting, he'd never be on time for dinner. 😉

I narrowed it down to my (current) top five:

5. Yamamoto Takeshi from Reborn! I'm a Gokudera fangirl - he's hot, smart, and hot, but he'd be impossible to live with. Yamamoto is nice if not too swift. (Both as a complementary set would be perfection - no polygamy, you say?)

6. Sohma Hatori of Fruits Basket. Used to be my number one, he's possibly the sanest of the Sohmas.

7. Hijikata Toshiro of Gintama. I'm watching it now, and he makes me go doki-doki when he's on the screen. He's smart, loyal, serious; as the demon Vice-Commander of the Shinsengumi he's the real leader, and OMG smokin' hot. The violent streak would be a problem, but it's usually in the service of justice. Watch ep. 86-87 or read v15 c129-130 through v16 c131-132 to see what he'd do for the woman he loves.

8. Koiwai of Yotsubato! He's cute, funny, cool, and a good dad. Life with him would be fun and stress-free.

I think I could settle down and have a nice life with Fitcher of Suikoden 2, but that's just how I feel right now, doing a Suikoden 2 gaming run now.
