Please, please let the movie AT LEAST follow Chun-Li's backstory faithfully...
EDIT: I'm not gonna see it. Neal McDonough is playing Bison, and Bison is now just a businessman who's goal is to take over another company. 😔

And they shouldn't demean Bison like that! His voice is played by Wakamoto, who is - as you all know - epic.

They are trying to go with the realistic approach. You know, so more people would want to watch it? Give them some slack! I mean, even as a fan, I'd be detered from watching if they were gonna do bison with his usual red outfit with humungous shoulder pads. Neal McDonough looks tough enough to be Bison anyways.
Besides, at least watch it for Kristin Kreuk 🙄 drools

I'm definitely watching this. I'm a huge fan of Kristin because of Smallville so yea, I need to check this out when it is released. Even if it doesn't follow Chun-Li's story accurately, it should still be better than most movies coming out.

Also, Kristin is like...part Asian! She looks asian enough as well! =_=
Better to get an actress who would resemble the anime/game version better rather that some Asian girl with squinty eyes (Like...Lucy Liu or <insert fairly plain looking Asian actress's name here> )

Besides, taking over companies could be a good source of income to fund a crime syndicate, don't you think? 🙄 So it's not really that far off from the original source. Also, it could be an AU >_>

Chris Klein as Charlie already killed this for me. Plus the story...even if you take a realistic approach...that's just awful. A little more faithfulness to the original source material and maybe enough people would care. I mean look at that Kikoken...it's not even the right color.

All I'm saying is that you can still make a good movie without deviating much from the source material.
Take the first Mortal Kombat movie. It didn't deviate that much from the storyline of the game, and it was still pretty good. If they could stay as faithful as that, then everyone would enjoy it, fans and newcomers.

But you can't really complain about wrong colors/designs though. I mean...look at spider-man 3! I'm still not happy about how lazy the design for the symbiote suit was! but it's still a box office hit isn't it?
And about newcomers, they wouldn't really care about how far off it deviates from the original, especially if they were kids. If it's good enough, they'd still enjoy it :\

I thought Spider-Man 3 was good when I first went to see it. 🤣
And it made me wanna read the comics. After I did, it made me glad that I didn't spend my money on the movie. >:-(

she's fine and all, so i'll probably watch it (download) but, that shit looks awful, that low budget ass energy blast, it looks no better then that weak Dragonball movie.........
