I love spongebob so much. I used to be indifferent to him, until a few days ago when my friends showed it to me. Then I thought, wow, he's just, like, so smart, you know? If you look at his pineapple in the sea, it really reminds me of Notre Dame. The architecture is really very similar. And I'm sure that some of Spongebob's lines are directly from Kafka's Metamorphosis. I think that Spongebob is really a metaphor for the human condition. Some really smart guys wanted to educate children subliminally, so they invented him. Cool, huh?

I absolutely adore Spongebob! It's one of the few cartoons that haven't lost their appeal to me as I grew older...probably because the jokes, jibes and implications are aimed more towards adults than kids. 😃
As for those who think it's gay - they need to clean up their heads a little. It's just a cartoon meant to make people laugh, not a movie or novel with deeply-thought out personalities and story-lines. The characters aren't even human! It's a shame most people seem to look at everything in such a cross-eyed fashion nowadays. 🤨

Spongebob is beyond gay...
Nevertheless I do think is a good cartoon... sometimes creepy as hell, but is funny.
Invader Zim was the BEST, specially in Spanish, the voice actors really pulled it well for Invader Zim, and is THE ONLY cartoon that I enjoyed more in spanish than in the original language
