ok im a gamer and i love fantasy type games (like - final fantasy, onimusha, kh...ect) but my friend says that war games are better (games like - halo, metal gear solid, gears of war.) which one do you think is better? 😕

I don't think it's a matter of being better as it is being different, but I think I'm kinda like you and I defintely enjoy a good rpg, but there is definitely something appealing about having a bunch a friends over and playing halo.

I agree there with you, I always enjoy a good rpg, but nothing beats getting online with like 10 or so friends to play some halo 2.

ye it depends whether you enjoy multiplayer action or not, RPG's like FF are great to play on your own whilst war games are better to play with other people.

RPG fantasy games!! I admit that playing the war games are exiliherating, but I prefer playing Fantasy RPG games. I guess it's the point of a plot/story.

I like both. You can play a single player RPG at your own pace but with war games you gotta keep up with everyone else. Nothing wrong with that though unless you haven't got the time.

depends on the game
a good war game trumps a bad RPG, and vice versa

War games suck if they can not be played with friends.
Tactical shooters are way bettert than some 1st person right button bashers.
I like Metal Gear, but I can't touch Halo.
I can handle pretty much any RPG with a good battle system.

It's personal preference. I'm a mmorpg fan myself.

I think most people are thinking online shooter games versus one player rpg games, while online rpgs and playing a shooter alone are just as common. ;P

I like 2D fighters personally. I am a big fan of the Capcom fighters like old man Street Fighter and 3rd Strike. Also like the Guilty Gears.

I'll play RPG if it is really good and can grab me in the first hour (yes, I give them a whole hour). FFVII and Dragon Quest are my fave in that Genre.

I'm also a big fan of 2d scrollers like old man Contra and Rolling Thunder.

I like Video Games.

it's really depend on your taste, games are like foods.

but I dont really like to play shooter game in console, better stick with pc for that genre.

ermm yeah depends on the taste like domonkazu said.

i am not a fan of fighting, but i am a fan of plot/characters/graphics games etc. So i call for fantasy games because they are fun and their graphics are pretty good... [war games graphics are better but whatever xD]
