Like any "power" is not the ability but how it is used that can make it evil. Great power does not mean for the average Joe great responsibility (yes, I like Spidey), unfortunately great power corrupts most people. 🙁

Well, playing with a person´s mind, even the concept is evil. But well, there is exceptional cases, like hiding your intentions when you are giving a gift or surprise birthday party, but still, i won´t say in these cases you would use exactly the term "mind games"

It's still manipulation. It isn't a bad thing per se, depends on the person's intent while doing it.
