What the...am i the only one here dissapointed about the storyline?Come on gyuz! We had since chapter 200 something -when Ulquiorra first appeared kicking Kurosaki's ass, then re-appeared and kicked im some more,it almost became a habit of him! Even on hollow form the best he could do was scratch im with getsuga tensu. I mean he has suppresed his inner hollow - at least that's what he has told us so u can't just say Shirosaki has so much strength difference with Kuro..right?

The way he defeated Ulquiorra was at least the worst... i believe i am not the only one waiting at least a big fight! If he was capable of such a feat why didn't he go to face Aizen from the start? If his hollow form was from the very begginning so strong, then what about the rest Vaizards? They were the one teaching Ichigo how to supress Shiro. Also they were captain level all of them so no cheap excuses like but he is more powerfull etc..

Anyway i am expecting a real good excuse about all that!I will not tolerate something like another inner fight with Shiro and Kuro overwhelming once more!
I heard - not read- that bleach was supposed to end some time now but there was a demand on the author to continue the story, so it's a bit understandable that he has some hard time with the story...still...it ruins it a bit.

I'd love to hear some other opinions - arguments about this.. it's just that me and some friends of mine have the same Questions about how Bleach is evolving...there r just too many holes in the story.. 😕

I don't know but I'm wondering if that Hollow-Ichigo being so terrifyingly calm means something. He does act without mercy and like a beast but he was so damn collected in this chapter it kinda left me thinking.

I didn't like Ulq from the start so no disappointment after this fight. I just can't wait to see what happens next, cuz this situation's kinda messed up.

Actually I don't think there's gonna be something like fighting his inner hollow because in contradiction to the fight with Byakuya where the moment his inner hollow took over, we could see his personality was more like a crazy goblin, here, in this chapter he was unexpectedly still and silent, except the moments of attack. I don't know, but suppressing THIS form seems to be out of Ichi's abilities ^^;

I imagine more like there is Ichigo conscious inside and in some kind of control, but he must yet get used to controlling his killing instincts that are released in this form?

I was satisfied with this chapter. Ichgio was cool, Ulquiorra is probably dead, and at last this kind of boring fight will be over and we can move back to the exciting stuff. Hopefully, that is.

not likely ichigo has yet to kill anybody, bleach isn't seinen remember enemies get cut in half and can still survive.

The way he defeated Ulquiorra was at least the worst... i believe i am not the only one waiting at least a big fight! If he was capable of such a feat why didn't he go to face Aizen from the start? For your question about Ichigo going to face Aizen, Ichigo's goal was just to get Orihime back. He said himself that he doesn't care about anything else but saving her (Which makes him look like an asshole seeing how he just conveniently forgot about his family, friends, and allies).

And as for the Vizards, my guess is that they were told abut Aizen coming to Karakura Town later than anyone else. They only knew that Ichigo was trying to control his hollow and that's it. No one told them about Aizen coming at all. It was until the end of the Turn Back The Pendulum flashback when we saw that the Vizards were ready to go confront Aizen (And that was when Ichigo was deep inside Hueco Mundo and Zaraki just beat Nnoitra).

But I will agree with you on being disappointed with this chapter. It wasn't even like Bleach. it was more like a generic shounen fight chapter. It was REAL smart of Ulquiorra to just outright tell Ichigo what parts of his body he can't regenerate (Which more likely than not is the reason why Ichigo gave Ulquiorra a cero to the head), And then there's the fact that throughout his whole fight from chapter 340 all the way to this chapter before Ichigo unleashed the huge cero, he only damaged Ulquiorra a total of 3 times (The first time was in chapter 341 where he BARELY nicked him, the second time was just last chapter when he ripped off his arm (And that seemed like nothing seeing how he easily regrew another one), and the last time was this chapter and with that ONE slash).

It’s official: Kubo can’t write for shit anymore. How can you have a character who got beat up for 11 consecutive chapters suddenly beat another character (That only suffered a wound they can quickly recover from) just by slashing them once? HOW DOES THAT MAKE ANY FUCKING SENSE AT ALL? There’s no way to justify Kubo’s lack of interest in this story! It’s like he just wants to hurry and get this over with, so he decides to just throw all of these nonsensical things in there while forgetting about what happened in previous chapters, and then pick up his check after he finishes. He must be trolling the readers for his own amusement, because there’s no other possible explanation for how it got so shitty so quickly.

I swear to God, this chapter was the manga equivalent of the Fingerpoke of Doom.

Thought I was the only one that felt this way. Such a highly expected fight, and it wasn't even exciting. It felt rushed, if Ichigo garnered new powers might as well flesh them out a bit, but I guess that will have to wait until he faces a stronger opponent. And yeah I thought it was an error the translator made when Ulqui pretty much signed his death bed, but no, he actually did point out his weak spots in hopes that Ichigo would never figure them out and land a blow. 🤨

As someone else pointed out previously, Tite will probably do the same he did for the SSarc and have Ichigo try to control his powers, or maybe he'll probably just loose sense of reality. I hope it's not the latter though, if so the next chapter will be a typical shounen cliche.

hmmm....do u think that Ichigo kills (or killed or whatever...) Ulquiorra? I mean, has he really killed someone in these last 37 volumes? This is getting really tiring...I hate when I expect something and the next chapter disappoints me and I have to wait for next one and next one and.....tiring.

Well one thing we have to look at is what is Ichigo like in his pimped out hollow form, because to me it looks like to an extent of a Hollow-Ichigo and Zangetsu combo thing going on which might help explain his huge power advantage. Not to mention how Ichigo went into this new form to begin with which happened after he was stabbed by Ulquiorra and the wound looked exactly like a Hollow hole.

I'm pretty sure that this power-up will have an equally powerful drawback as well; as in not being able to control yourself, ergo hurting your allies too.

And yeah, like someone mentioned before, I was thinking that Orihime would protect Ulquiorra too - saying something like, "That isn't like you, Kurosaki-kun! Y-you're gentle... a-and you're not sniff like that... eyes start tearing"

Then BAM! Bitch slap. 😛

This form also might be a manifestation of his carnal desires. Lately, Ichigo's lust for fighting has increased. It's like he has acknowledged that he loves fighting. Remember Zaraki's speech. Hell, for all we know, Ichigo might be developing an evil side from now on, though that's highly unlikely. Maybe he'll go all emotional and refuses to use that power anymore.

Wishful thinking would be that he suddenly opens up a portal to Karakura Town and starts wreaking havoc there. xD

Another thing to note is how Ulquiorra made a distinct difference between Sonido and Shunpo. I think Tite was trying to point out that Ichigo was in fact some Hollow-like being right now.

Predictions: Ishida and Inoue are royally screwed. 🤣

Nothing special this chapter, kinda expected this the moment ichigo got shot through the heart...

And now, bring on the Orihime whining chapter with a side of Ishida getting whooped...
