what manga have you noticed has a great definition on charecters expressing emotion.
drawn by the simplests forms of emotion to the most detailed.

which ones draw you in the most because of the detail in charecters expressions?

akagami no shirayukihime
kimi ni todoke
full metal alchemist
. .
. umm give me some time i'll think of more...
-i think for me its based a lot on personal bias (of course)
-but no, my point is that if you read enough of an artists' work you'll get to the point that you understand what emotions they are trying to portray by the subtlest of changes...

to continue on that:
anything by Tsukuba Sakura
whose stories i simply love shrugs

I think Corseltel no Ryuujitsushi because though the art is quite simple, I think the emotions are really well done and you get a good feeling for them.
