For once something really unexpected came out of Bleach...it was pretty awesome. Although we know he wont actually be able to kill Aizen with that...but still pretty cool.

This would only be a surprise if Aizen actually died. But then who is Ichigo going to fight in his with his new upgrade. I. am. SO tired of Aizen "knowing" everything.

I bet Gin was already under the complete hypnosis of Kyouka Suigetsu. Touching the sword only works in the moment of the activation of the technique. Aizen said that he knew Gin would try to kill him, so he hypnotized him before he touched the blade.

Another possibility is that Aizen was lying when he told Gin Kyouka Suigetsu's weakness and that touching the blade at the moment of activation doesn't actually work.

Would be awesome if Gin ends being the King of hell and kills Aizen to obtain the Hyokyou to make a Key to open HELL...

You know... would be better if Gin turns out to be the greatest villain with another mindrape a la aizen

If Aizen knew of Gins betrayal then he would put into effect some counter measures. Unless in fact the weakness of Kyouka Suigetsu was fabricated as mentioned above I don't see any other believeable way for him to live. Granted that they could give some bull like it was a clone, but I doubt that.

After reading the chapter my first thought was "yay, hes a good guy 😛 " which is when i realised i actually liked gins character, nice to know.

Always thought he could betray aizen, though i wouldn't be surprised if he didn't either, a wildcard of sorts. Definitely a surprise coming from Bleach; a plot twist you couldn't see coming from a mile away, but then again plot isn't its strongest point.

Well, it was pretty obvious that Gin was gonna be a traitor (Seeing how Aizen's plans always benefit Aizen only), but it's pretty anti-climatic to see Aizen get struck down that easily. Like others have said, it'll be a real shock if Aizen actually does die from this seeing how he's ungodly strong and all...

Seriously, I did not see this one coming. No matter how you look at it, Gin appears more of a villain then a good guy. And come on, do you think this is all it took to finish him off? Where captains of a much higher caliber couldn't finish him.

The most likely outcome is that the hogyoku is gonna regenerate aizen. His exact words could be something like "you know Gin, your little trick might have worked on my pre-hogyoku state, but it won't work on my godly state"

after last chapter. i honestly think kubo just pulled this out of his ass. the end. because aizen was so high, there was no way ichigo could catch him...so he was prob like ''oh gin is sneaky, ill just have him betray him''
