Okay. Actual epilogue chapter done, which was all about.... meh. It finished absolutely nothing, brought closure to nothing.
It was really just a filler chapter with the usual harem antics with first girl bonus going to Moka. Some funnies, yes, and the cover picture of Moka is very pretty, but the meat and potatoes of the ending is that... there isn't one.
Ah well. Not a good way to end a series, but at least it's just meh instead of bleh.

I agree, it isn't really WOW NICE ENDING but this is better than nothing. It's good to see it ended as a harem and it's a open ending. If there would be a definite ending it would probably be fucked up anyways. Leave it be and don't mess with it anymore.

This was one of the first manga i started reading. Even though the story started to get flat out dumb, i stuck with it mainly because i wanted to see if Moka and him would become a couple. i just felt really let down at the ending due to the fact that the romance part of the plot was left completly unrsolved.
What really gets me is that the mangaka has to know that a good portion of his audience wants them to end up as a couple but yet he still avoided the issue.

If it's any help, you're not alone, @Trejon. I think the biggest problem with R+V was the fact that there was a whole lot more the story had to give. But instead of exploring the world in earnest, Season II quickly engaged the endgame plot after 30 chapters... 'Twas weird, and smells of axing to me, honestly.
With Ikeda/Akissa returning with Ghost Reaper Girl, I wouldn't totally give up hope: crazier things have happened. But yeah, unlikely.
Also, @jeffreymgibson, I wouldn't say the romance wasn't completely unresolved. It's pretty clearly alluded that Moka and Tsukune are an item, it's just we don't get much of the fanservice that we were hoping for.
