I'm a girl and I don't wear make-up at all
i HATE the feeling it has on my face it feels like mud caked on my skin (I can't even use chap stick). I don't care if girls wear make-up or not. I would prefer to see their naked face instead of a face with heavy make up on. but then again some people don't look good without make-up...
Someday(maybe) I'll overcome (that feeling of dirt caked on my face) make-up and maybe wear it it's most likely I wont wear it..

I hear you say "Why?" Always "Why?" You see things; and you say "Why?" But I dream things that never were; and I say "Why not?"

I still wear (a lot?) of make-up. I consider it a lot since the people around me don't wear as much as me. It's the regular liquid foundation with liquid eyeliner, and then regular black eyeliner on the bottom with a bit of white/silver eyeliner. I occasionally wear mascara, but that's when I have extra time. The make-up I wear sounds a lot but it looks natural. I don't use blush, lipstick, or colorful eyeshadow colors.

i really think that makeup is really pretty and colorfu!! but id ont wear it.. because i dont know how to apply it and its kindda troublesome.. but anyways.. imma try to learn how to apply it in the future! but seriously i do think that makeup shouldnt make women feel dependent on it to make them feel beautiful.. because i think that beauty is.. i think i'll have to reserve that topic for another thread...

I don't really wear make up. Tried blush once and ended up looking red and angry. Make up is a big NO-NO for me, because I fail at applying stuff on and I look weird with it on (rather stick with myself being the plain looking yet inconspicuous girl I usually look like).
Though I have occasional flashes of vanity- like, when there is a disco/formal thing, I feel very depressed that I look so plain and stuff and had tried mascara. The mascara had ended up lost in the house after what I did to it. I couldn't apply the mascara on my eyes properly and it felt uncomfortable having it on...

Make up works wonders on some people (like a beauty transformation) but some people just don't use/like it.
I'm just one of those people who attempt to wear make-up, groan at the result and chuck the make up out. I don't become suddenly beautiful when I try wearing it... = =

Also, since I'm naturally ordinary (ugly??) looking, I feel that if I use makeup, it will make me seem like a wanna-be-beautiful-person. I actually like the idea of makeup but am too afraid to use it...

I have bad skin complexion and bare minerals powder really helps to even it out naturally. Much nicer than the liquid stuff. Also use eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, and regular chapstick.

i dont wear make up. too lazy. but on halloween i like to play with my moms old make up. but let me tell you something. they are turning our society into sluts. the legal sex age is 13. and people are having their 7 year olds wearing sluttty clothes too slutty for words. north america is going down the drain.

I use make-up to a minimum. I always use mascara unless I'm lazing around at home. Sometimes I wear lip-gloss or lipstick, however I've just stuck to using plain lip balm.

Also, I have concealer but I don't have powder so I never use it. My mom has a lot more cosmetics and tools that I don't have... I just don't ask her for help very much (I'm an only daughter).

First off, yes, I am a guy. However, I hope that you don't sideline my comment solely for that reason.

I think that make-up sellers prey on a woman's desire to feel beautiful by juxtaposing extreme icons of "beauty" with their product to build within a woman a sense of unsatisfaction/inadequacy regarding the way she looks. They try to show that make-up is a means by which women can achieve results that are more satisfactory. Suffice it to say, These people are evil. They should not win a single penny in their disgusting game. I truly despise what they are doing and I am deeply saddened when I see women whom have fallen into their trap.

Furthermore, women should know that they are genuinely beautiful. And that no amount of make-up can match a woman who is internally satisfied with her appearance.

And if for some reason there is justification for using certain products that I am unaware of, then I would argue that the minimum amount is always the best.

I'm a guy too and frankly speaking, I find a girl looks prettier when she doesn't apply any make up at all. Many of my (girl) friends (no,I don't have a girlfriend) say that they'll look sick or retarded (their words not mine) without their daily dose of eyeliner... really now. 😐

I always wear these only......
face powder - just a everyday routine
eyeliner - only on bottom eyelid, since I have quite big eye
lipstick -I have pale lips, so need to make it more lively

I have dark skin since I'm an Indian. Almost all my friend are dark too and they wear foundation that are used for fair skin to make their skin look fairer. But it makes them looks like a clown, and when you look at their hand and face color are totally different like they are belong to two different people.

So, I think people should accept the way they are, try not to change your look drastically. Beauty lies on the eyes of beholder anyway.

i rarely use makeup.. i concentrated more on making sure i don't have a breakout. had a lot of problems with acne during high school and wearing makeup is only done during special occasion.

i mostly use eyeliner and lipstick. other than that, not much unless you consider foundation too.

As a guy I find it lame and unappealing. Make-up is something used to impress others, I hate that attitude. I find most girls prettier without it, I like the fact some girls don't care about blemishes or scars.

I've always wondered what it cost monthly, once my uncle told me he spent over 500 dollars a month shelling out make-up/hair product money for his girl. I always thought that was bullshit though.

I really can't stand make up. I feel really uncomfortable when I wear it and I can never itch my nose or eye for fear of messing it up. So I have to walk around all the time with the extreme urge to itch my face as it slowly builds up leaving me unable to do anything but think about itching .....

I say NO to make up 😛

I go out with a bare face even though I've got crap skin. I'm a girl btw.

  1. i'm fine with the way i look
  2. i don't like anything caked on my face
  3. i'd rather have a lie in - some of my friends get up an hour earlier to fuss with their hair and makeup...

I don't have the best complexion though i can live with it, but then i see some people who freak out over one little spot and going crazy with the concealer... To each their own, i guess. If it happens to make someone feel more 'perfect' or boost their self esteem then go for it. However, i do find that those who obsess with makeup and daren't leave the house without it actually look perfectly fine all natural anyway.

What i didn't get was seeing some girls who put concealer/foundation on their lips 😕
