OMG I forgot about Missingo, that's how long it's been since I played it! I remember first time I played blue I was so naive and had no idea how to swim across to get to the 7th badge. I was utterly stuck and then me and my brother had an argument and he saved over the file, the next day I found out how to swim. I was fuming! I hit him so hard and my parents grounded me so it was another week before I could start repairing the damage done. I love that the game was such a craze it push people towards violence, I know a few friendships that split up over trades, cheats and such, lol.

The pen is mightier than the sword...and considerably easier to write with.

First generation is the best; this pic proves my statement.

Because the Dark type was added and with that the idea of EVIL pokemon was no longer a dream

and also because I was finally able to do my demonic team of Feral Lizards

with those 3 on level 100, I managed to beat the crap of anyone else in my school (LINK CABLE MATCHS + BETS = WIN)

in matches in with I was allowed to use 3 more Pokemon I used Snorlax, Nidoking and Ho-oh

Maybe it was because I was so young and enjoyed things a lot more than I do now because I chose the 1st generation.
I remember the yellow version and having pikachu follow me around. XD
I used to purposely put pikachu into the computer just to see its reaction!

I remember I was like 5 when I got my first gameboy color, and my first games were pokemon. 🤣

The first one. Lots of good times.

First, matter fact I'm still trying to get my handso n yellow.

First Generation. Red; my first gameboy --- though I have stopped playing nintendo hand helds.

I didn't mind the 2nd generation, I was about 10 when it came out and pokemon was still popular so I guess I liked it at the time. I haven't played them in so long and would probably be frustrated with the lack of character development of the pokemon 😢

I mainly like the first gen, but there are a few from the newer ones i like, albeit less and less as it goes on...

Arcanine, Magmar, Electabuzz, Marowak, Haunter, and a few others from the first.

Houndoom, Tyranitar, and idk what else, brain just shut off on me...

I pick the 2nd Generation.

My favorite pokemon (Typhlosion) came out of that generation.
