Me too, I wonder, why this hasnt been picked up by any goup yet? Jiraishin(the prequel) was awesome and I really hope that a group will pick up the sequel and unlike Daichii, I cant really help out as I can neither translatem clean, edit or proofreadm but I can donate if that can help. Anyways, does anyone know, how the sequel is connected to the prequel? Is Ida Kyoya still the protagonist? Is Eriko still his partener? The only thing I was dissapointed with the prequel was, Ida never fell in love, as if detectives cant have a family, I would've loved if Eriko fell in love with Ida. I liked Roxy and it seemed like her death really touched Ida and how he wanted to stop her from getting killed. I suppose if Roxy had survived, she could've changed Ida, because she seemed to love Ida and seemed to understand him. However, the best out of all the stories for me was the one with Lisa and Ida, it was strangely moving, a villain who fell head over heels for Ida and at the end died. It was the most romantic volume in Jirsishin, I wish Lisa had survived and got released from prison and came looking to Japan for Ida in order to start a family 😔

Ehm...In Reality in Japan there is only 7 chapter of Jiraishin Diablo. It was start on Good!Afternoon, and Good!A have only 7 volumes until today. The 1st volume will be release in February (specify 5/2). I'm a great fan of Takashi Tsutomu, and Iida (clearly). I Italian and I've all the series published in Italy (jiraishin, tetsuwan girl, sky high, alive and sidooh). But... who is Roxy O_O I don't remember this name.
Back in topic. I've Good!A #1 and #2. (the cover with Iida is :Q__). I don't understand japanese and I don't know what the charaters says. In this two chapter there isn't Aizawa, and Iida there is rarely, and he is... strange!
The story start in Amakurajima (Ishikawa), at november 2007.

The new drawing-style has a strange effect on me. Only 2 chapters is not enough for get used to it.

P.S. I don't scan this 2 chapters because I can't buy other Good!A and I'm not sure to make a good work ^^"

[Excuse me about my english T___T]

Thanks for the reply. WHAT!? No Aizawa? That makes me very sad, as she is one of my favourite characters out of all the mangas I have read and ofcourse Ida too, is my favourite male character, and even he appears rarely? That doesnt sound good because, all I want is to see Aizawa and Ida solve cases together again and maybe see Aizawa move Ida's frozen heart enough to make him fall in love with her as towards the end of the last chapter of the prequel it seemed somewhat like Aizawa was falling in love with Ida, atleast she acknowledged to herself that he was preious enough to her to make her want to not lose him. Oh and I want to know more of Ida's past and what made him this cold.BTW, Roxy was the german prostitute

Oh! I forget Roxy. I prefer the second part of this manga, and I reread it many times, but not the first.

It's not sure that Aizawa can't appear in Jiraishin Diablo, only 2 chapter for Takahashi is not enough. When I'll look the volume 1, I can say it with more precision.

however I don't like that Aizawa falls in love with Iida. She is only a friend for he. And she isn't able to support sentimentally Iida. I think only Atsuko can do it, and also she not completely.

Well Atsuko is dead and both Aizawa and Ida lost the people that loved them and Aizawa is now, the only person that's left that understands Ida and his work the most. Believe it or not, alot of readers want Aizawa and Ida to become a couple and were angry that Aizawa already had a boyfriend so, many think, the author killed off Aizawa's boyfriend so that Aizawa can be with Ida

I'm not against Aizwa, I like her character very much, but I don't think she's suitable for Iida. About Takahashi, I don't know how many of his manga have you read, but he's not the type of mangaka that does these things to please fans. If he was like this, Tetsuwan Girl had been finished in a different way (and Sidooh also is "against fandom" in a certain way). I think that Takahashi has clear in mind a narrative line when wirte and he isn't influenced by the audience, in fact the Japanese audience of Afternoon (and now Good!A) isn't the ones who is interested in couples

I know the author didnt do it to just please his fans but even so,dont you find this to be a big coincidence that he killed off both the people that loved Aizawa and Ida? Dont you think it was another big coincidence that Atsuko asked all those questions whether Aizawa liked Ida or not?(it felt like Atsuko already knew Aizawa loved Ida) But Aizawa never replied and only said she is engaged? Dont you think its absurd when Aizawa asked herself why instead of being glad she was feeling uneasy to hear Atsuko was alive? And the way Aizawa tried to cheer up Ida and prove to him that he i no criminal and her realization that she doesnt want to lose him is also something. And while, I understand its just your personal views that Aizawa isnt suitable for Ida, most people think otherwise, because she is also in the same business, understands Ida the most, but also tries to bring some humanity in him, and Ida trusts her too. So yeah most think they make a great couple. I dont know why you think they dont. IMO, Atsuko understood Ida too, but as Ida said they were worlds apart and it just wasnt possible, but its possible with Aizawa because they are both in the same world and perhaps the only woman who understands him and his way of work, respects, and cherishes him and is someone who isnt a criminal.

Anyway, if Ida and Aizawa arent there in the sequel, and are not the main characters, then I guess I wont be reading it.

When you put all those things about Aizawa it makes sense... But even of she loves him, I don't think he loves her... At least, for him, she's just a important friend...

Even if they aren't the protagoists I'll read anyway =] It doens't matter who are the protagonists... As long it's one of Takahashi's works I'll read. (It's a shame that none of his works are licensed in my country...)

ofcourse We all know, that Ida doesnt feel all those emotions or rarely shows the, its the girls who keep falling for this cold but awesome person, but, you know, Ida does acknowledge her as a good friend, and that is the first step, and they can work from there because Ida does care for her and even said some kind words to her, something he doesnt even do to his friends, the best thing about Aizawa is, she doesnt want to change Ida and likes him the way he is, but at the same time instils some moral values in him. Tell me if there are any other better candidates for him other than Atsuko?
For me, the protagonists mean alot, sometimes even more than the story, if this wasnt a sequel but a different manga, I wouldnt mind it if Ida or Aizawa werent there but since its a sequel, I expect them to appear, anything short of that would be dissapointing. Like how the sequel of Immortal Regis isnt that popular because the well loved protagonists are different in the sequel

Yes I know xD I'm also one of those that want Aizawa and Ida to be together.
Also Ananke said she doesn't understand japonese... So there's still a possibility that Ida is the protagonist but didn't have much scene in this last 7 chapters... of course it's really hard with 7 chapters appearing very rarely and be the protagonist... But not impossible... (I mean, have you ever played Kingdom Hearts 2? The protagonist only showed up after you played a while with an annoying character... And since you didn't wait 4 years to buy and play that sequel only to play with some estrange blondie guy... That time playing looked like an eternity... But the protagonist showed up xD ... Just a stupid example xD sorry...)

Oh no, I see only 2 chapters XD And I'm almost sure that Iida is the protagonist. In Blue Heaven the real protagonist is clear only in the second tankobon.

For me not even Aizawa loves Iida ^^" I don't read the english scan, but the italian edition, and the italian terms expressed intense friendship and not other. When she said that she doesn't want to lose him, IMHO, is not love, but it's a normal reaction of a woman who had lose all except that friend. On the contrary the Aizawa's love for her husband was evident when she cried in the middle of the street or when she said that she would have intention to donate her husband's organs so she could feel him "alive" in a certain way.
But, if in Jiraishin Diablo Takahashi will insert the Iida x Aizawa for me isn't a problem. It's enough that it's justify and for me is always good. After all I love the love stories drawn by Takahashi, so all is very appreciate _

Another thing. In my impression this first part of Jiraishin Diablo is only an introdution, then could starts a flashback, but it's only my impression (Jiraishin ends in 1999 and Diablo starts in 2007....), but I don't remember any Takahashi's manga with flashback in reality.

I don't find it unusual that Iida hasn't appeared much in the first 2 chapters. I just finished reading the first series, and I noticed quite a few volumes where the author spends a lot of time bringing in all the criminals and victims and setting up their scenario, and THEN brings Iida in way later.
