Paraguay has a strong defense too... Thogh this isn't their best day :\
Italy seems kinda... lost now :. The Italy of the first 15 minutes 😮 totally dissapeared.

Aaaaand Italy score. Against the run of play though since neither side looked to be particularly threatening.

Netherlands versus Demark---booring, Van Persie not clinical enough and not many chances.
Japan versus Cameroon--zzzzz booring
Italy vs Paraguay--any game with italy in it tends to be boring but this game was ok. Was happy it was a draw just shows that Italy have not much of a chance of winning this world cup.

if Côte d'Ivoire play like they did at the last world cup. they will surely give Portugal a tough game and possibly win.

that is definetly a possibility. I guess a lot of it depends on how Ronaldo plays, if he plays in his best form just like Messi(not his best best but still damn good) then he can turn the game around and win it for portugal.

lol. That's funny. I'm American, and I love football (both American and world football), but that's funny.

QFT. That's the reason why I always root against them. They always seem content to just drop back and defend after taking the lead, or even worse, go to penalty kicks when the score is tied in overtime in elimination rounds. It's no coincidence that Italy was involved in the two worst WC Finals (aka WC Finals that went to penalty kicks), although Zidane made that last one interesting (for more reasons than one).
I'm late with this, but I'm going with Spain. They've been good for so long, but their World Cup always seems to end in an early disappointing exit. I think they'll finally break through this year.

They favourited cote d'voire to win this match on paper. Damn...i need to go watch this.
Its not all down to ronaldo...remember they will be prepared for him, there will be at least 2-3 guys on him 🤣
Hopefully deco can make a wounder shot or something, if not Ronaldo.

I believe in letting people do as they wish, as do I myself. Sometimes, of course, what I wish to do is kill them and they do not wish to die. This gives life interest.

It's annoying that England started playing like the Italians I guess that is predictable considering they have an Italian manager .Also they were content with just 1 goal and just defending. However, the thing that pisses me off the most is the own goal by their own goalie that was a total and epic fail...

Holy shit are you serious?? The people who thought that on paper Ivory coast good enough to win are on crack lol. If portugal does lose it will be an upset for sure. I don't get why I mean sure yes midfield wise portugal is umm definetly not that good with Deco being the only good one, Nani injured(that fool) but defence wise they are pretty good with Ricardo carvalho, pepe(still injured?) and Bruno Alves there. Attacking wise they got Ronaldo and no more words need to be spoken about his capabilities. It will be ok if they focus on Ronaldo, gives the other strikers more space though not sure if they are good to make use of that and that is the problem.

it doesn't matter as long as ivory coast play like they did THEY WILL HAVE A CHANCE and even if Portugal wins it will not be a spanking like Germany against Australia but do note that many of the European teams aren't playing that well the only one that played well was Germany.
any way any thought on north Korea vs Brazil? i know how well Brazil plays but i have never seen north Korea play.

every footballing nation has a chance. When they say someonez gonna win on paper that usually means that theya re the better team and in no way in terms of players is Ivory Coast better than Portugal though i guess they might function better as a team but on paper it should be Portugal who wins. Hmm Brazil will win and well I think south korea better than north korea atleast that is the opinion of my korean mates but they are obviously biased.
By the way Brazil has a different style of play now thanks to that idiot Dunga, they have gone defensive now basing their play on counter attacks

It won't be an upset if Portugal lose, Have you seen any of their qualifying games, I mean they barely qualified for the World Cup and are lucky to even be there. Also they couldn't even beat Cape Verde in a friendly. I'm routing for the Ivory Coast, but if the Winker has he's day then it'll probably be Portugal.

Yup their form has not been good, actually just checked out what Ivory Coast have lined up in their team. They have kalou as a striker who is not bad at all, drogba as sub because of lack of fitness and toure as midfielder who is really good experienced midfielder with perhaps portugal defence being better. So teams look to be balanced but I believe again a lot will depend on Ronaldo, if he plays good Ivory Coast will most likely lose.

Yes I agree with you about the Ronaldo factor, I just want to see an exciting match, we've had too many draws at the moment In this World Cup. Here's hoping that this match has some goals in. Drogba may come on as a sub but I doubt Sven will risk him considering he has a fractured arm or elbow (It's one of them).
