Now, if something would have happened like a Spanish player taking out a Netherlands player who had a clear path to goal, and the referee didn't call a foul, than I would sympathize. Or if the Netherlands scored a goal that was disallowed by a bogus foul or offside call, than I would sympathize. However, missing a corner kick call, and then claiming that cost them the game? You lost me.
Back to Spain. Spain got a majority of the scoring opportunities. They attacked more, and got more shots. Maybe the shots weren't as good as the Netherlands two golden opportunities, but there were more. And am I the only one who thought this was a good match? I swear, the tension was almost unbearable, and I'm not from Spain, so I'm not a "true" fan. I really enjoyed this match, as opposed to the last World Cup final. And I do give credit to the Netherlands. Not even Germany gave Spain as much of a challenge.
EDIT: I forgot to add. HELL YEA! Finally, after falling short of the finals on numerous occasions, Spain finally made it to the finals, and took advantage of it. Great job Spain.

Tell me Spain deserved to win and you are stupid, ignorant and blind.
Also don't forget the corner that Holland wasn't given before the Spain goal. Ref made a mistake? or was it.

You can be unhappy but the world cup winner is the world cup winner. Some one paid someone is just an assumption with no proof. Luck is a factor to any cup, keep that in mind.

Oh dear I see too much debating.
I dunno why you're angry. We all knew Spain were gonna win. Paul said so and Pauls' judgement is not to be doubted.
I've had one to many to drink (was at the pub watching the game) so I shouldn't really type much but I have to comment on that ref.
He was shit. Too trigger happy with his yellow cards and be kept stopping the game for fouls that could have been played as advantage. (yes I hate it when the flow of play is interrupted too much)
They both had their chances though. Wish there were more goals but hey the final never seems to bang out many goals.
Lol at the guy saying the ref was paid. He was English. That's why he was shit 🤣 nah the "ref was paid" excuse is always said by the opposing team. I hear it a lot.
Oh dear I'm rambling. I'm probably not making any sense xD my friend was pretty upset because he put a £10 bet on Holland. I told him he was an idiot for doubting Paul. Shame you non believers. Shame.

i´m glad that spain won. that means germany ´lost against the champ and that´s way better than losing against the 2nd. But it´s really ironic. To get in 3rd you have to win your last game, to get in 2nd you have to lose. I prefer 3rd to 2nd

I love the fact that Spain won, but we have to be aware that a LOT had to do with LUCK, Robben failed 2 goals, NOT because Spain could stop them, but because LUCK aka PAUL helped spain.
