this is interesting. Are there any more male shoujo mangakas?? To me it's pretty obvious by now the Dengeki Daisy/Beast Master mangaka is female... but believe whatever you want haha.

Basically what we've learned from this is there are very few male mangaka who write shojo, and all of them either do classic style or they're not mainstream at all.

I've been told the shoujo genre was originally created by men. I'm guessing nowadays there is a stigma against men who write/ draw shoujo. =\
