I think you misinterpreted what Hachi did. Barragan's is like a virus and causes whatever it "infects" to age rapidly, hence why Soi Fon severed her own arm to save her life. Hachi used the same principle but rather than just dispose of the infected arm, he somehow attached it to Barragan, causing Barragan to be affected by his own attack. Lame way to kill off the guy with the coolest release, but whatever. Hopefully Hallibel and Stark don't go down so pathetically, but I'm not exactly optimistic about it.

Yes, I fully understood what Hachi did. I also somehow figured out how Barragan's attack worked back when Soi Fon was attacked a few chapters ago.

I was saying that if he could use his own hand to attack Barragan, then why not break it into pieces and infect all of his enemies. We could have ended Bleach in one chapter.

I dunno, I thought Hachi's move was creative. It seems to me that most of the Espada that have been defeated have been overpowered not had their power turned against them. Also, I thought Barrigan's power was sort of dull -- some kind of unstoppable entropy field. One trick pony if you ask me.

because he's the only espada that has an unstoppable power, it really was a gamble; he couldn't stop what hachi set in motion inside of him because it was with his own unstoppable power

Kubo did know how to make the winner look good at one point...But the last time I can really remember it happening is when Isshin defeated the Grand Fisher... After that...not one memorable fight of the winner "winning" rather than the loser "failing."

I think Kubo has outpaced himself and his story has long run out of control...what he needs to do is take a hiatus and actually plan for some of the upcoming chapters...say 100 or so ahead...and maybe actually figure out how it's going to end, because we all know he hasn't the slightest idea about that.
