If you control only one of the beasts while the other 8 are out there and you start attacking, then other people will either get the beasts in their control, or the hosts themselves will use the beasts. And when that happens, they will either try to wreck havoc and attempt to control lands like you, or will attempt to stop you from trying to take over the lands. Seeing how the beasts are the strongest creatures in Naruto's universe, having all of them and using their power would not only eliminate any people that would have opposed you by using the other beasts, but would also make the task of making all of the lands yours a cakewalk.

True but he didn't really say he needed to beasts to let them fight for him; he said he'd use them to build some sort of doomsday weapon.

Maybe he just wants to upgrade his shinra tensei (~ the attack that crushed konoha) to a 'continental' level or something 🤣

What I wanna know is how kishimoto is going to incorporate the tailed beasts into the story. There is no way that the kyubi is stronger then the combined beasts that they absorbed. Does he really expect naruto to fight some kind of monster with all of their chakras combined? While its true that kyubi is the strongest tailed beast among the nine beasts, I don't think even he is capable of defeating the fusion of the 7 beasts(I said seven because I don't see the 8th beasts being absorbed, since akatsuki is really down to only madara, the weird aloe guy and sasuke, I think pein and the girl are either gonna die or give up the akatsuki, after all, naruto has the type of personality to change everyone.

As for the chapter, it was good. Can't wait to see what happens next.
