well since there are captains that do not take too much importance or dont appear to much which one of those phantom captains would u like to be more active?
my choose? its Retsu san cuz she is so calm but her battle potential isnt really uncovered yet and as far as i know she is the only person that Aizen didnt wanted to face when leaving the SS as they say "beware of the calm waters" or so XD

Me too! I voted for Shunsui though, because he makes me laugh more. But they're cooler when they're together (and add Nanao~chan and the two 3rd seats on the side too).

But seriously - Ukitake's character is so underdeveloped. Tite has one hell of a 'field' to come up with a good story and characteristics of Gotei 13th's captain.

I pick ukitake. I've been curious about him eversince Rukia had a recollection when she first stayed in the human world. The recollection was about knowing what fight you are fighting for. I was thinking who is that long-white haired person besides Rukia who had a great influence on her. And when I saw him finally in SS, I was glad cause i really like his character.
