Yeah, some of the genres can darken your soul. It's always best to check and recheck genres and make sure you understand well what you are getting into because some things cannot be unseen...
Try Michael Keikaku. It's got enough plot for most other works combined. Its got a few surprises in there.

I don't watch hentai anime (yet?), so I hadn't run across it. (And if I had, I'm not sure I'd have know that particular name for it. I tend to watch dubs, though I'm slowly getting into subs.)

You know how to make something bold by using the bbcode buttons just above the text box, right? Notice there are 2 for manga [ m ] and author [ a ].
All you have to do is write a name associated to a manga, or the name of the mangaka, and put the appropriate code before and after it, just like you would make something bold. If it doesn't work when you preview it, then likely it doesn't know the name you've put in between the code.
And thank you for the list. I was rather looking for romance this time around, but moods change, so when I'm in other moods, I'll look them up. =)

I second on Takeda Hiromitsu, Yunioshi, and Tetrodotoxin in terms of awesomeness, but not realism and being romantic.
I've encountered only a few romantic series, but most are doujins (I think).
Some out of the top of my head include:
Rubbish Selecting Squad's RE series (F/SN) - especially the recent RE10 from C75
-Maid Bride was sorta romantic. The art's pretty realistic too.
-Digital Lover (MU has no record of this group?) had a really sweet doujin on The Dissapearence of Haruhi Suzumiya
-Akiko-san to Issho is a 3 part doujin series of Kanon. VERY sweet. Diabetics beware. The rest of Mitarashi Kousei's works are pretty sweet too.
-Spice & Wolf doujins are pretty romantic too IMO
It all comes down to what level of romance you're actually looking for.
After all, just sex by itself is a form of romance 😎

Found this from searching so thought I should contribute.
Haruki's works fit the bill somewhat... Boobs are not overly huge, there's typical shoujo ish romance, and the art is softcore.
