Punisher for me...
he kinda reminds me of gutts from berserk, i dont know how though
but somehow does, considering its all a dark story with a dark
protagonist and all

Did you mean ?? one who leads in action ?? 'cause half those in list are side kicks or seconds under the heading of Hulk smash.
For leaders you forgot Storm any time, Cyclops -Scott summers- outside runner. Wasp was a good leader when she ran the avengers
Not forget Shadow cat err Kitty pryde she ran excalibur.
Oh a note there is ya all guy's too. 😕
spidy has never been a good team player
Wolverine leads with his claws then his rep
DD hungs off out with dead chicks
Incredible Hulk, I smash, to I take over world of late
The Thing, he beats on green gens or Johnny
Human Torch one hot poser
Punisher honestly the comics better
Iceman any one for a snowball fight and please get that telepath out of my bed er head she belongs to Scott
Captain America white bread is dead
Ironman a new van president -please wait for the movie to bag me more K-
WarMachine who or what is 'im
please don't take much offence at this posting, just next time you honor marvel remember the women. On the other hand I am a long time reader of comics and have around 4,500 comic in collocation and only 400 hard copy manga and 11.5 gig on drive before storage. 😀

Same here...
well, i guess i wouldn't go as far as hate but they are overall pretty boring...
Very similar stuff, not as much variety as manga...
For me a good manga has to invoke lots of different strong and subtle emotions...
Comics don't really do that...
Always with the superhero/supervillain and junk... not into that too much.
So I don't read Marvel, DC etc.

I used to read a lot of American comics, still do occasionally and since when is american comics boring? Ever read Sin city? what about 300? and league of extraordinary gentlemen to name a few. As for marvel superhero it's a 3 way tie between Alien symbiote spiderman, the hulk, and wolverine, and occasionally magneto when he's not being all evil and stuff.

I'ts just that they're not the type of things I like.
If they were on this site I wouldn't rank them any higher than 7 or 8.
Although, to be fair, there were some I enjoyed...
V for vendetta for example... checked it out after I saw the movie... that one I enjoyed...

I bet if people were under the impression that these American comics were created in Japan that some of the people who say American comics are boring would probably love them.
Not all American comics have the superhero and supervillain junk. Johnny the Homicidal Maniac is a good example of this. It's hilarious too.Who knew murder could be that hilarious?JtHM was created by the same person who created Invader Zim. I know it's not Marvel or DC but I am just backing up my claim.

I would say Groo the Wanderer. he is not smart and like cheese dip. He also smells like a filthy barbarian, but was trained in Samurai sword style. Greatest barbarian swordsman ever.
Life is tough......but it's tougher if you're stupid.
